Great value wool.
Bought this for my wife as she is "a one woman knitting machine" now that we have a grand daughter.She says that the wool is "nice to use and produces a good quality knit"...her words not mine.One problem she had was, half way through the ball, a "large knot" of what appeared to be unprocessedyarn appeared. She cut this out and carried on, but she has never experienced this before.Other wise this is good value, the finished cardigan looks and feels great.

Unhappy. Sent two different Lot numbers
Sent for 2 balls of this wool to knit a baby jacket. Knitted up first ball, then on second ball noticed a different feel to the wool. When I checked, I had two different Lot NO.s. every knitter knows that when you buy wool you buy ALL THE SAME LOT NO.s due to variations of the wool/colour. VERY UNHAPPY with this supplier for sending me different Lot NO.s. now got to buy more wool and start baby jacket again. The wool itself is a very nice sift baby wool.

Not Soft
Even though this yarn is declared to be soft & snuggly, it is not. Disappointed.

THIS WAS SUCH A PRECIOUS FIND!!!
I apologize to the seller for mistakingly canceling my first order, and the inconvenience to them. I am making tiny "Babies First Christmas ornaments" of a tiny cabled scarf (9 inches) with a tiny hat 1/12 by about 2 inches, and needed some soft, fine yarn for this project. Love it!!. Soft, does not split, easy on my hands. I tried to add a picture and my computer would not let me. I went back to purchase more and there were only 3 left. I got them, Praise God! Thank you so much. Absolutely love the yarn.

Softest and highest quality acrylic blend baby yarn
Sirdar and Hayfield were top of the line yarns when I first began using them many years ago. The Hayfield yarns I used aren't available anymore, so I was delighted to find out I could still get Sirdar. Not only that, I was able to match some leftover Sirdar cream yarn I had on hand. This yarn makes the softest baby blankets, scarves, etc. I have ever made. They are machine wash and dry. The yarn doesn't split or rub my hands raw, it's the easiest yarn I've ever worked with. Now there are many other yarns and blends that are soft and easy to work with, but all I've seen are 2-3 times the price of this yarn. If you want a more exotic yarn blend go for it. If you want quality, durability and soft, Sirdar is the yarn for you!
