Pair of small victorian Style Cast Iron Shelf Brackets

Excellent brackets. Currently holding up a meter long solid french oak mantle beam and doing so with ease.Screws to attach it to the wall couod be a big stronger. I used a more sturdy screw in the top position (hidden by the beam) and used the supplied black Screws in the visible locations.Gives the option to screw the beam or shelf to the bracket for extra security.

We bought these to hold up our mantelpiece above the log burner. They're nice and sturdy. The only thing to watch out for is they have an eye on the back for a screw so they won't go flush to a wall if you're using them so the longer edge is against the wall. It didn't matter to us as we could fit it in the gap between the two pieces of wood as shown.

Beautiful workmanship on these brackets. Absolutely delighted with them. They add character to my new shelves.

The supports themselves are really nice and sturdy so far. The screws that came with them though snapped very easily so I did have to use ones I already had.However, they look really good and have given my kitchen a nice rustic look which I was going for. Made cheap and old shelves look classy.
