I ordered this power adapter for a portable DVD player with a built-in screen. That player came with an adapter for use in the car, to entertain backseat passengers. But it did not come with an adapter for use in my home. This wall charger meets my needs, as it is 12V and comes with a number of tips, including the one I need for my DVD player. I like the fact that there are four additional tips though I haven't yet figured out what devices I have that would use those alternatives.This power adapter comes well packaged with a brief set of instructions. It's nearly foolproof: plug and charge.

Trash, destroyed product it was intended to be used on with same voltage/amp rating as previous plug it was intended to replace.

I needed a new power cord for a teleprompter but had no way of figuring out the input size on the back of the screen. The power supply was correct, but I was stumped as to what size input I needed. This was great because I just slipped on different sizes until I found the one that fit my device.

Does the job

Measured right at 12.3 volts with no load, the adapter comes with several different tips to adapt to different devices. This is very handy if you need a 12v adapter for a electrical device that you either lost or broke the initial one. You do need to check the polarity and amperage of the device you are powering to make sure it's compatible.I was working on a home built electronic gadget and this power supply works well for my needs.

Purchased this to help charge some items that no longer had the original charger. It did t work. Use caution before ordering this.
