I have had UAG cases for my last few iPhones, and liked them a lot for a rugged protective case, but they are overpriced and not what they seem to be. (No kevlar layer, just a decal). But the case prevents from phone from charging on a charging pad in my car. Apparently because it’s too thick, even though the case is Magsafe. Caused me to look at Mous that I’ve seen for years. It is very different than the UAG, more sleek yet still beefy and appears to be protective. And while much of it is plastic, the quality is much more refined than Otterbox. A bit wider in the hand and sides pop slightly if pressed. I like the carbon fiber back - feels premium and attractive. So far case works well and like most of the design elements, especially the raised corners. Yes, a bit pricey, but looks like lots of engineering went into it and that’s worth while, especially compared to the many one pice flexible case that call themselves protective, including the lower priced UAG models.Added note: I reached out to the company about the annoying pop when I squeezed the side of the case. The company, with a bit of prodding, sent me a replacement and the new one is fine. After another month of using the case, I like it a lot. It feels very good in the hand and seems of very high quality, better than the cases from UAG.

I previously had the same case for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it was awesome and still looks great after years of use. Mous cases are rather expensive so when I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max, I decided to try some cheaper options and even though some where "good", they did not have the same premium feel as this one. I tried the Mous Clear case, it was a good case but it felt too slippery and showed lots of fingerprints, so I returned it and got this one. As soon as I took it out of the box I knew it was the one for me. The sides have a nice textured grippy feel with additional ridges that make the phone comfortable to hold and as well as making it feel secure in your hand. The raised edges around the front of the screen offer nice protection to help avoid scratches when is dropped or placed faced down and the camera is similarly protected. Everything about this case just feels great and feels super premium. Yes it's an expensive case, but it's absolutely worth it.
