I have been purchasing these for years. Saved many phone screens from being cracked/broken.

I've tried several brands, even for this last acquisition of mine (an iPhone 16 Pro), but this is the first time using a privacy glass. My first Tech Armor purchase was in October 2014, and ever since what I've looked for is: 1) endurance -which I've known for more than 10 years Tech Armor has-, 2) clarity -which I now know is better than other brands-, and 3) that the area where the sensors are was clear, with no privacy "film" so that the ambient light sensor and face recognition reader are not affected... and all 3 things were as desired! 100% recommended, not just the brand, but this Privacy Glass!!

I’ve been using Tech Armor privacy screen for years. It works perfectly for protecting my phone screen and recent versions come with a placement guide, which is super helpful.The privacy screen works great, too, but it’s really only effective from left to right. Top to bottom is still fairly visible but less likely to be an issue anyway.I’ve tried other privacy screen protectors in the past and they would reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen. Not these. These even work with gloves (with the touchscreen fingertips).Some reviews mention its lack durability and how easily they crack. At $15, I’m okay with that. Some of the thicker screen protectors reduce sensitivity or are hard to see through. Replacing a $15 protector when I drop my phone is better than paying $100s to replace the screen.

Helps somewhat with privacy. Isn’t perfect but it’s better than nothing. Someone sitting next to you would be able to see only parts of your screen or a faint outline of things depending on the angle they’re at.The application alignment tool could use some work. It was like the protector itself, better than nothing. Far from the best I’ve used on other screen protectors.Also this isn’t a dealbreaker for me but even aligned perfectly there is a sliver of light on both sides. Like light creeping out of the crack of a door in a dark house.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this one deserves a shoutout! I’m super picky about privacy screen protectors, so I’ve tried a few different brands, but none of them come close to this one. Trust me, you won’t regret buying it!

I have a tendency to drop my phone all the time and this has really been a lifesaver. In the beginning, I found the privacy a little annoying In the beginning because your friends or family cannot look at your phone from the side when you’re showing them something. But you can just figure it out and show them with the screen directly. But that tells you that the Privacy does work well!

Why buy Tech Armor when other brands offer multi-packs for the same price?Tech Armor's privacy screen protector is the only or one of the few that has a cutout in the privacy layer that allows the front facing light sensors (and not just the camera) to work normally. If the privacy layer is covering the other parts of the top notch, your screen auto-brightness acts really dumb.Also they're based in the USA, so you'll have a better chance at QC and support. I've been using Tech Armor's privacy screen protectors since my iPhone X when they were like the only game in town. I cheaped out once since and noticed the lesser quality immediately. No doubt I believe their marketing materials about durability over some Chinese company that backdoors products for cheaper.
