FenderPure Vintage '65 Jazzmaster® Pickup Set, Vintage White (2)

I’ve owned a 2002 Japanese Fender Jazzmaster for years and although it was a great guitar to play it never really sounded right. Fitting a set of Fender Pure Vintage 65 Jazzmaster pickups has completely transformed the guitar and it now has those classic Jazzmaster tonesWhen I removed original Fender Japan pickups I could see why they never sounded right, they were more like Stratocaster pickups in a Jazzmaster shaped cover.

Very disappointed with these pickups, having paid to have them replaced after receiving them only to find out the bridge pickup was taking no reading.I did read other reviews that this has happend with other packs of these pickups so it seems to be an on going issue.I was refunded quickly however which is good.

Lovely transparent sound, balanced across the frequencies. I put them into a Squier Jaguar - such a difference!

I bought this set to replace an AV62 set as I found them a little compressed for my taste. The PV65’s make my Jaguar sound fuller across the board and more open, bridge in particular is great with a Telecaster style bite to it. Fantastic upgrade all round.

Good pickups-put them in my MIJ Jaguar.

Upgraded Pickups on MIJ Jazzmaster. Really made a difference, authentic 60s sound - excellent!
