Great knife came sharp and it’s very durable.
I bought this knife for my coworker he likes to hike with me. Great value for the money, easy to use, hood nice in your hand grip wise and feel wise. He hacked up and chopped through a 6 inch thick downed tree branch like it was nothing and it kept its edge. I will be buying one for myself I liked it so much.

A great knife!
I'm not sure why there were ANY negative reviews on this knife. It came super sharp. The blade did come heavily oiled , BUT, it's high carbon steel and it keeps it from rusting. Just wipe it down if you aren't too lazy! The sheath is real leather and truly beautiful. (Not sure what the small compartment is for, but it looks great.) I wish I had a reason to own two. and if I did, I'd by another right away.

Good Buy
4.5I bought 2 of these knives for martial arts training and demo. The handles are in good shape, no chips, marks or bleaching. The tang is full and flush with handles, uniform on both, no gaps. The blades are sharp. The “Damascus” pattern fades towards the heel of the blades meaning the “Damascus” pattern is added. I figured as much before purchase. No big deal for me.I’m guessing it’s 1095 high carbon steel. The knife is packed with heavy oil, took 5 minutes to clean.Knives are fairly balanced. The grip is not too big or small, it’s not slippery but it’s not adherent either, it’s fairly easy to hold and manipulate. The sheath is better than expected, sturdy, well made. It’s a good buy for the money in my opinion.

Great Knife
This is an awesome knife. It looks awesome, it’s sharp, the handle is tight & flush, and the sheath is very good quality. I have no complaints about the quality, look or feel. Couldn’t ask for a better knife at this price point. To the people who commented about it having oil on it, this knife isn’t stainless steel, and I’d be upset if it didn’t have protective oil to prevent corrosion.

Great knife! And great sheath.
Grabbed this knife for a full tang survival knife for a backpacking trip. Knife quality is great. The edge is incredibly sharp out of the box.I do some leatherworking so I did flip the orientation of the sheath and restitch and re-rivet the snap buttons so that i can draw with my right hand from when it is snapped to my belt from the back. This really allowed me to break open the sheath and view the craftsmanship in detail and it is a solid knife/sheath for the price.

Not Damascus steel
This is some imitation Damascus steel. Still a good knife though. But this is absolutely false advertisement.

Caution you might get addicted
If you know me I have a love for any sharp implement. I like to collect as much as I can and I have added this to my collection. The Damascus steel is beautiful. It is very sharp well greased. The leather case is of good quality.

It appears to be a serviceable tool with cheep aspects
Lighter than I thought it would be, and the sheath is of lesser quality than i was anticipating it came saturated in oil so rust wasn't a factor and it was easy to clean off. It seam like a serviceable tool, I plan on using it for survival training so I will pit it through the ranger and update my review with the results
