Rotating the head of the flashlight causes the focal point of the lens assembly to move over the center of the selected color LED in turn. If you look at the business end the of the lens assembly (torch OFF), the black portion of the head appears to be "out of round" to accommodate the requirement of the optics to not be centered on the main axis of the flashlight. The effect is pretty neat, uniform light distribution and focus in all colors.

It constantly falls out of flashlight holders and out of your pockets. With that being said the first time it dropped out of my holder the lense holder came undone, and for the life if me I cannot figure out how to open it up to put the retainer ring back on. Other than that it is a great flashlight. Easy to use, great modes of operation, easy to switch between colors, and the strobe function is neat. If the retainer ring didn't pop out I would have given this all 5 stars.

I really do like the Flashlight, the charge seems to last quit a while, and is pretty powerful. As a truck driver sometimes I end up pulling over for various reasons and it's really nice to have the Strobe (all colors flash at once) feature that alerts other drivers and motorists.I really don't care for how you have to charge it by removing the powerbutton, unscrewing that, then unscrewing the battery from the frame of the Flashlight, that part isn't user friendly at all. I would think it should be charged by a cradle of some sort.All in all I give it a strong 4 stars for the cost and so far performance. It's appearance looks great, not the smallest for sure, but this really would work well for most applications.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE TWO LEDLENSER P6R CORE QC LIGHTS. I FULLY CHARGED BOTH. NEITHER WILL TURN ON. ALL THEY BOTH DO IS INTERMITANTLY BLINK A DIM RED FLASH. I EMAILED LEDLENSER AND HAVE YET TO RECIEVE A RESPONSE.
