This device solved so many of my HDMI headaches. My Man-cave has a dual zone 4K/UHD/Atmos setup in addition to several other displays (mixed resolutions) where I host many sports/video gaming events. This has not only eliminated a lot of over-complication in my setup, but has made it night and day difference to navigate. As an odd and unexpected result, netted me dual zone Atmos and Dolby Vision all while playing nicely with the rest of my mixed resolution setup. If I had to give it any criticism I'd say the fans are a bit louder than they should be (but this is just me being over critical), also, even though I've disabled CEC function on the device it still gives various components commands (this one is the most bothersome, but nothing a CEC-less adapter or two can't solve). If it stands the test of time, I will be more than happy with this purchase, I will update if anything goes awry.

Product just as described. Easy install and simple setup.

Have had this operational for close to a year now; very pleased with it, although I'd be happier if it were a bit quieter. The headings on the Presets page are a bit confusing, but once I realized the "Preset Set" column really means "press this column to have one of your schemes take effect" it made much more sense.I did have a problem with a failed power supply after a few months of operation, but OREI was (eventually) able to send me a replacement.April 2025 update: the replacement power supply has now failed-after less than a year. Not sure if I have the patience to get a replacement through OREI; will probably buy a third party one.

The concept seemed straightforward. The manual was a bit intimidating. In fact, it was almost plug and play. We had 2 inputs to start with and 4 outputs. 2 were on HDMI Cat 5 extenders, one was just HDMI and one output was a wireless HDMI extender. We also used the audio splitter for our main input channel and linked it to the mixer for our church. All worked beautifully.Hint: for video routing, follow the simple but important instruction—push the output channel FIRST, then push the input source you want to route from.A couple of reviews complained about all the output resolutions having to be at the lowest setting common to all. I found that not to be true. The resolution can be selected then “copied “ to an individual output channel.Bottom line, it’s pretty easy to use. I spent about an hour unboxing, reviewing the manual, hooking up connections and had it up and running very well. And I don’t have a lot of experience….

This was the greatest purchase for me. The ease of use and it saves me a ton of time and space.

I have been generally pleased with this device and control it remotely over a network. Before I ordered it, I inquired about video delays and was told that there were not any. Apparently the answer applied to the time difference between input and output. What I found is that when you change an input, the related output goes black for approximately 4 seconds before the new input appears. While this is not a problem for setting pre-show configurations, it is a distraction for switching inputs during a performance. I will continue to use it for basic video routing, but will need to use a HDMI switcher to select and change sources for displays during a performance. I submitted a ticket on the OREI website several days ago asking if this behavior was normal. Unfortunately, I have not received any response.

This product came in with great packaging and was exactly what I was looking for! I couldn't see myself going with anything else!
