Aquarium Small Malaysian Driftwood Luxurious Set for Fish Tank Decor, Real Wood Bogwood 5"-7" (2 Pieces)

So I bought these to be decorative pieces in a moss terrarium. They are perfect for that. Yes, they are small about the length of my hand (small, female hands) and they are shaped differently then the image photos, but thats because it seems to be natural wood (not manufactured), and thats how nature makes them. I think its just the luck of the draw that mine look unique and that I am happy with them, because some of the other photos posted I would be annoyed. They serve my purpose perfectly though.

While I knew each piece was one of a kind, the pieces delivered to me did not resemble the picture at all and were incredibly small. Waste of money.

I got this to use in a paludarium because it said aquatic. I haven't even put it in the tank yet and it's growing mold.Definitely not worth the money and would not recommend this product..

After boiling/soaking this for several hours each day for 5 total days with a deep freeze in between, the water is finally almost clean. The wood has good shape but reminds me of railroad ties, it’s super dirty and I feared it would kill my new clutch of pleco’s. It was quite a bit of work but I’m happy with how it turned out.

The media could not be loaded. I have a 15 gallon tank with a betta and 4 neon tetras and noticed the water was testing as very hard so I did a water change and ordered these driftwood pieces to see if I could get some tannins going to help soften the water. I boiled the driftwood when I got it and let it cool and then put them in the tank. One sank and the other floated at first so I weighed down the floating piece with the sunken one and left them overnight to soak. By the next day both pieces sank on their own so that I could stand them up in a decorative way in separate parts of the tank. I anchored some of the baby plants growing off the parent plants in the tank to the driftwood and the effect is quite lovely. The fish all came over the investigate the new decor, the betta swam over to one and curled up next to it to nap, and the water is testing softer now! Really happy with the pieces I got.

I got a really good twosome of bark. Nice color, good size, no splinters or disintegration. No tiny shards. A very positive purchase.
