RimmelLondon Super Gel Nail Polish, 42 Rock n Roll, 12 ml, Packaging May Vary

have had to stop using this polish. my nails have never been perfect but after using this product they are now covered in white marks, dry and flaky. I've had to file them down. I have been using Rimmel polish for years and never had an issue. I contacted Rimmel a week ago for a response but have received no communication yet. I would certainly not recommend it.

I've used Rimmel London Super Gel nail varnish for quite a few years. I find it's the best results I've ever had without resorting to the damaging Acrylic and U.V. Lamp.My daughter adopted my home manicure routine less than 1 year ago & is delighted with her beautiful fingernails now.My system takes 90mins every week for a thorough home manicure.After a good clean & tidy of my fingernails, I rub in a nourishing base oil for treatment for 1 minute per nail, then whole hand cream for 2 - 5 mins. Wipe off any residue before applying Rimmel nail colour (1). Sometimes a 2nd coat of No 1 nail colour is needed but not always. When dry, apply one layer of top coat (2). Don't use hands or fingers for 15 mins.Remove all varnish after 7- 12 days. Treat with oils around cubicles every day& gently file nails as required.

I used this polish for black french nails. The first picture is one coat, second picture is two coats and the final picture is the pink french with Rimmel’s Rita’s Black polish on top for finished result. The thickness is great and easy to work with. Naturally the pink is a bit sheer so I recommend two coats. The polish dries very quick I felt and so it made it swift and easy to build on! Cheap and good varnish.

I used step 1 purple splash and punk rock with the step 2 top coat and it looks amazing it has dried like gel but with no uv it was easy to use

Been having uv gel applied for a good few years, obviously due to Covid it can’t be done at the moment, found this polish liked the look of the colour, I apply it to bare nails two colour coats and then one of the top coats, love the colour the thickness of the polish easy to apply.I am always cleaning something in the house most days, hands forever in and out of water, this stays on for up to three to four days for me before it starts to chip, I have found having my nails shorter does help.I am happy with it and have now ordered another colour.

The colour is very pretty, and I highly enjoyed this.However if you have flexible nails like me, then be aware that the staying power is very low.I used this with the correct top coat, but the next morning they already started cracking.So although they will definitely sit well for 24 hours, by day 2 they will stop looking as nice.DO note, I have rather flexible finger nails and the cracks definitely appeared where the nail bends, the main "body" of the nail was flawless. So if your fingernails are hard then you might have better luck with these.I still use this every once in a while but only if I have the time to redo my nails the next day.

I love this system of No.1 nail gel & No.2 Top Coat to seal. It gives a professional manicure appearance & leads to many compliments. On holiday, I left my nails 2 weeks without chips etc, then I removed easily with a non-acetone remover. This particular colour of Guilty Pleasure needed 2 coats of colour. Other, darker colours, usually need just 1 coat. Colour glides onto nails & seems to be dry enough for No.2 top coat within a few minutes unless two coats of gel colour used, then leave gel colour 3-5 mins to dry. A nice wide brush helps to reduce brush strokes & easy to use.This Rimmel Super Gel 1 & 2 really is great & can last a lot longer than ordinary nail varnish. When I catch the skin around nail with colour, it looks messy, but the next day it comes off just by washing hands in warm soap water & a cloth to rub the skin. At pharmacies the cost is around £10-£11 for a box of 1 & 2. Just one basic nail tidy & polish at a salon costs £15 upwards. No brainer eh.

I was searching for this shade for ages till I spotted it here on Amazon and I wasn't at all disappointed when it turned up. I just love how easily it goes on my nails, it's long lasting and hard wearing. And so very reasonably priced, what's not to like? Some nail polishes you need at least 2 or 3 coats for it to take nicely, with this one, even 1 coat looked fine - although I did 2 coats as I always find this makes it last longer. It really does give a nice gel effect too. Will definitely be ordering again and happy to recommend without hesitation.The delivery info was a bit confusing as initially I received emails saying the delivery would take several days longer than it was originally going to take but then it arrived on the day it was supposed to arrive in the first place (which was handy as I got it in time to do my nails to go out at the weekend).
