DIY Foam Machine Kit - Build Your Own Super Stacking Foam Machine/Foam Cannon Fan not Included - on a Budget

This kit cost a fraction of what a complete unit cost. The only catch is you have to supply your own blower. I happened to have a blower for a bouncy house i have which blows as good as the foam blower.

I’m glad I found this! After figuring out how much it would cost to rent a foam machine I decided to make my own. This $49 kit made it simple. I followed the youtube video instructions and I saved money. Yes, it works really well!

With the 18 fan, this produced a huge amount of foam. Really incredible. I used it for my daughter's birthday party and it was amazing. My only comments are that the hose is not suitable for this application. This kind of hose restricts the water flow, and you want maximum water flow. The pump provides adequate flow, provided you use a standard, semi-rigid hose. The second thing (unrelated to this product) is that the using the correct amount of soap is essential to large volume of foam production. At first I was underwhelmed, but subsequently increased the soap concentration by double and the amount of foam was incredible. You need to experiment with the correct amount, but don't be shy about using too much!! The main thing is you want the sprayers to coat the entire inside of the fabric sock.

BUYER BEWARE! Did not get all the items pictured! All I received for $50 was pieces of PVC pipe in a zip lock bag! No real description on what to expect in the box. Highly disappointed! Now I am in a rush looking for another option for my sons party. Don't waste your time or money!

This is a great product. Follow the video, great DIY project. We used it for out daughter's 6th birthday party. Big hit.

This kit makes it very easy to turn the fan into a foam machine; however, I can see where an adjustment to the kit would help you maximize foam production. The sprinkler heads are positioned just barely above the fan grate. I recommend amending your kit to raise your sprinkler heads further out, away from the fan by maybe at least 6 to 10 or so inches. As it is, most of the liquid drains to whatever area faces the ground, which is hardly any of the mesh area. Just a thought. I’m scrapping my kit’s pvc assembly and building a different one.
