We recently renovated our kitchen and seem to be the family’s go-to for any celebration. I was nervous about my quartz countertops. With these, I now set them down and don’t worry about the heat from the warming tray, spills, messy utensils, etc (not that I needed to worry but it is all new!).I took a baking dish out of a 400 degree oven. I never set these on the counter but I wanted to test the heat resistance. Silicone is durable. To test, I placed the mat on my stovetop then the hot dish. I had my hand under the dish (under the silicone). It was warm. But definitely not 400 and I keep my hand there and it felt as if I had a baking mitt on.It is sticky, but not gummy. It washes and wipes easily. I bought a larger size and it rolls up well and I keep it in a drawer next to the oven mitts.Good value. I just bought another (diff brand) so I can compare. I also tested this size for under my coffee maker and its great there too.

I just bought my second one because it took awhile for my husband to realize it’s not a cutting board. We have quartz countertops, and this mat is perfect for protecting them from hot plates, lids, etc.. it also keeps cutting boards from sliding. I love it. We leave it n the countertop all the time, and it looks nice and cleans easily.

I use this as a mat under the coffee maker and the toaster. It is a little tacky if you try to wipe it off with your hand, but if you use a damp sponge it's very easy. Stays clean and looks good. Note that this is not clear. It is translucent. Mine is on top of a white painted surface so I don't care, but you may .

Bought this mat to protect my quartz countertop. It is good quality. It was the perfect size for where I wanted to use it but it could be cut to size. It is easy to clean.
