Q: Approximately how much does it weigh when filled with water?

Water weighs 8.35 pounds per gallon so 15 gallons would weigh 125.25 pounds plus the weight of the bag which is about 1 pound.

Q: Wondering if the bag offers any insulation to avoid freezing? is there a recommended temp for storage?

Mine is in a tear drop trailer I built. The only insulation for the bladder is from the compartment I put it in. When in storage, I drain water out of bladder.

Q: Durability and warranty. Inside an aluminum box for off-road vehicle with a lot of laterial and vertical movement. Is that covered? Suggestions?

Thanks for your question! The manufacturer only warranties these tanks in a static environment, so it wouldn't be covered if it's in an off-road vehicle, even in a box. If you decide to go forward, make sure there are no sharp edges anywhere near the tank on the aluminum box. While this material is very strong, it can be sliced! Thanks and I hope that helps. I haven't tested this specific set-up before, but I think you'll be just fine. The hose connections are 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread). You should be able to pick up a standard (drinking water grade) garden hose just about anywhere. Hope that helps! Thanks and Take Good Care, Adam... TOUGH-GRID
