I've used the foam Quies before and they've been very good but these were the only ones available when I needed more. I've decided they're even better than the foam ones. Once you've removed the cotton covering that stops them congealing together, all you need to do is hold them in your hand until the warmth makes them pliable. Then you push them into the ear, allow the air to escape and seal them by pushing the soft wax around the edge of the opening to seal it. Very effective! I've bought several packs ...

They feel comfortable to have in ear and noise cancellation good!

These are brilliant. I am a horrific snorer and was doing my friends heads in on holiday. I’ve tried loads and nothing seemed to work but these mean I’ll keep my friends as they don’t hear a thing, even sleeping right next to me in a bed. Horray.

I've used Quies for many years as I've always found them to be comfortable and effective. Recently I've been using them for blocking out the sound of my baby crying (it doesn't block it out entirely but helps to take the edge off!)However they are very expensive for what they are - and they often fall out when I'm asleep and end up disappearing down the side of the bed etc. I've recently switched to some cheaper reusable silicon ones and found them to be just as effective.

I have been using these for years. What is great is that there is no need to stick the plug all the way into the ear but because they are so soft it's possible to simply mold the plug to the outer part of the ear canal.

I hate ear plugs with a passion. They always fall out, and are terrible for side sleepers and the noise reduction is generally poor.These wax plugs are brilliant. Stick them in your ears about 10 mins before going to be to warm the wax. You can then mold the plugs to your ear. The noise reduction is phenomenal
