I really love this lotion. It has good ingredients and it's fair trade. A bottle of this size will last me for quite a while. The scent is very refreshing, its not a strong scent but it's enough. It's not as thick as I expected, but it still is moisturizing. Even though I think this is good for any skin type, I think it's best suited for normal and oily skin. If you have extremely dry skin this may help but it might not be enough. But overall, I really liked this product. I believe it's a perfect lotion during summer.

I love this lotion! However, the box it was shipped in had no padding, the bottles of lotion were rolling around in the box & although they were wrapped in plastic, one leaked and lotion was all over the bottle.

I really like this lotion. It is a summer light weight moisturizer. It soaks in quickly and is light on your skin. I will need a heavier moisturizer for the winter, but this is very nice.The scent is a bit strong. Not a hint of coconut, it is all coffee berry. Coffee berries are fruity smelling, like a red currant with a hint of cherry, without smelling too sweet. It was different the first few times I used the lotion, but not unpleasant. I have since adjusted and like the scent. If you use a perfume, you're going to want to make sure the scents do not clash.

I have incredibly dry skin that ends up clogging my pores, like keratosis pilaris. Basically, I get acne caused by dry flaky itchy skin, and it’s so frustrating. It rules out most products that are too drying or too oily.This lotion is amazing! Most lotions are too heavy, or stay slimy, so I can’t use them as much as I need to. This one absorbs so fast, and although I’m initially applying it frequently (my skin is *that* dry, y’all), I’m seeing a significant improvement only 24 hours later. I’m confident that as my skin improves, I’ll need less of it.I used to work for an esthetician, and am very picky about products. Most lotions (even natural ones) have silicones and mineral oils to improve shelf stability, texture, and application of the product—but those things will make skin drier and more irritated over time. This is the only brand (besides the Ann Webb line that’s more expensive) that doesn’t have those things. The value for these effective ingredients (and no “additional” stuff) is incredible.I cannot stand strong smells, and appreciate that there is no added fragrance—only the scent of the coffee berry and coconut ingredients themselves. It’s a light scent, and doesn’t linger too long. I can easily wear my usual lightly scented natural deodorant or body wash, without the scent competing.Overall, I highly recommend this product for sensitive, combination skin. It doesn’t have the same texture of most other lotions, but as I explained above, that’s a really good thing. Just be aware of it.

I've been using this lotion for awhile. Better ingredients that most lotions. Not greasy, light

I use this as an all-over body lotion, but I am somewhat disappointed with it. It IS fine as a moisturing lotion, but the coconut aroma is far too overwhelming. I usually use Alaffia's Coconut Reishi Body Lotion, which has a delicate coconut vanilla aroma. I have since ordered that product when it became available again. I will continue to use this product, but am hoping that the aroma will dissipate now that the bottle has been opened.

I was skeptical at first because the consistency of the lotion was not creamy. This lotion has proven that it does not need to be thick and creamy in order for a good quality lotion to work wonders on the skin. The scent is not strong and doesn't linger.I read some reviews that it smelled like Jergens but I disagree bc I don't like Jergens either.Another plus, I used to reapply at least twice a day with other body lotions but this one only needs one application a day. Great product! Please keep up what your doing, your company is amazing!

now there are so many ingredients. Look at the comparison photo That I took. with the black lid is the “new version“ and the one with the yellow lid on the right is the old good version. There has been no indication that this Amazon listing is a new product. It still has the old ingredients and yellow lids. There’s nothing on the new bottle with a black lid that says anything about the formula being different but when I opened it, it had an extremely strong smell coming off of it, which is one reason that I go with the alaffia because it is not strongly scented and everything is very natural. Now it has citric acid among other things that I know irritate me so I will not be able to use this and I will have to send it back. This makes me dislike Alffia very much for changing ingredients and adding unnecessary items to a perfectly good product.
