Yes, we add it to our wash and have sprayed our drawers and platform bed with it. We have even sprayed our dog's beds with it and it hs not affected him.

Q: Would this product be effective against mold and mildew?

Yes, but so would a dillute solution of clorox bleach, or a hair dryer and brush off the dry mold. I live in the tropics, mold loves humidity.
