Absolutely wonderful for children to use, will cut a carrot but not a finger. Great also for adults who are on blood thinners, much safer for them than steel blades. I have used them for years, safe in the dishwasher as well .

I bought these for children (aged 3-6yrs) to cut fruit and salad items for themselves. The children thought they made cutting harder than it should be and asked me to buy some different ones. I will however use these at toddler groups with children mainly aged under 3 yrs.

My son is very interested in helping in the kitchen, he is 7 years old and autistic so i didn't feel comfortable with letting him use proper knives, these are a great alternative, he loves using them they cut through veg great without him being able to cut himself. lovely colours, and great value for money.
