Branded unit spells quality
I have in the past bought generic ink cartridges for cheapness, but they don’t seem to last and ink smudges. So this time I purchased a branded Epson cartridge and I am very pleased I did. The quality is just superb I would recommend paying a little extra and buying quality

Good, but pricey.
Good manufacturer's spec ink. Costly. Doesn't last that long.

Choosing the makers own ink is always best.
I have tried the cheaper inks but have come back to using the makers own inks as these give the best results and allow the printer to be fully functional.

EPSON dyes are very high quality
Having been using these inks for almost 20 years I can attest to photos looking just as good today as when they were printed. Some have been subject to daylight on display for many years without fading. However there really is no need to charge almost £2000 a litre, (not a silly exaggeration, the Magenta is £11.99 for 4.1ml which equates to £2,924 per litre) there’s only a teaspoonful in these cartridges! We are at their mercy and this disgusting con will just go on and on. I have tried many other inks and all fade horribly with time. So if you print photos and you want them to last, you have to be ready to be robbed blind by these people. Sad but true.

No issue with functionality, but it’s too expensive
These work brilliantly so I’ve no complaints on its functionality, but I’ve taken two stars off for reasons of price. These are ridiculously expensive. In a world where we are trying to reduce waste we shouldn’t have to pay this much for replacement inks. Yes it’s genuine and it works perfectly in our Epsom printer, but pricing them so high makes you look at using cheaper inks.
