My two year old ADORES Sunny the Sea Turtle that he has lovingly renamed Terry. Sunny/Terry is a member of our family at this point! He’s an integral part of our evening routine and always is hanging out with us when we are relaxing on the couch. Every child that comes to play at our house gravitates toward the turtle and I would 100% recommend both for kids with and without specific sensory needs. The weight is perfect, materials are soft and sturdy, and the buckles are easy for little hands to snap. We also love the company’s numbered cars and parking lot for kids that love to line up or organize toys. The customer service is phenomenal and their response to inquiries and issues has ensured that I will be a lifetime customer. 10/10 recommend any Meavia product. It has been a complete success. Since this turtle has arrived home, my son has not left his side. It is very calm, calm, concentrated, good materials, it weighs a lot just as I wanted it. In fact, even my son's teachers and specialists are amazed by the change in his behavior since this turtle arrived. What's more, my son has a friendly relationship with this turtle, he covers it at night, he takes care of it, he takes it everywhere. When before I couldn't even play with someone, it's a complete success. Many thanks to the creator. The only negative thing is the shipping and customs costs to our country in Europe. The shipping costs were higher than the price of the product. Still, it was worth paying them. For mothers with an autistic child, I recommend it 100%.

Much bigger than expected! I absolutely LOVE it and the kids will be thrilled. Extremely well made and soft. Would recommend for sensory seeking kids or adults. I actually now want one for myself lol

I feel like I may love this turtle even more than my child! When I first ordered it, I did not pay attention to the details, just saw it was a weighted turtle, thought great for my son's aquatic life themed room. But it's all the awesome details in this lovey that I was enthralled with!Great lovey for anyone!

Bought this as a calming aid for my son on a long flight, I had high hopes. For the price the quality is ATROCIOUS! It came with a huge rip I will have to mend before our trip. The weighted beads are unevenly distributed which I found to be disturbing sensory wise. The main amount of weight is also in the turtles legs which is not as calming as if it was in the body. Overall dissapointed I would return but the flight is soon and now my son is attached to it. Into worth the price

This turtle is the cutest thing. He weighs 3lbs. It is made so well. I am actually shocked that it’s priced under $40! There are weighted beads in his belly and his feet. The shell is so soft with different soft textures and then the reversible sequins are under the removable top shell. Can’t wait to give it to my child.

This is absolutely perfect for my son! I’ve been on the hunt for quality sensory toys for my little dude. His face instantly lit up when he saw it. It’s so soft and each pattern on the shell is a different texture for sensory. The sequence under the shell are my son’s favorite. My son asked for a sensory stuffy so that when he was upset, he would have something to calm down with. I ordered this because I felt like it was perfect for him, but wasn’t sure if he’d actually use it. He loves his turtle and anytime he is upset or Frustrated he will grab it and just hug it at first, and then he starts messing with all the different textures and buckles and sequins and after a few minutes, he’s calm and ready to talk… My son has ADHD. It is a milder case, but he with emotional regulation, so this gives him the sensory that he needs a chance to calm down.
