I needed it for a presentation on Catherine the Great, and this was very accurate with what the Russian Imperial Guards’ uniform looked like.As a woman, I ordered it in a Men’s Small and it fit just fine!

It got caught on my motorcycle’s brakes, I got yanked. Surprisingly it didn’t tear and I couldn’t get it to tear with my bare hands so I had to pull out a little knife I carried.Will update with pictures. Probably.This is the only cool design out there I liked but the fabric is cheap and I was afraid the buttons might pop off if I moved wrong. I think you could reinforce it yourself but I would only buy this for the design not the fabric.Also I bought the largest size to fit on top of my motorcycle gear and it fit really tight and limited my mobility a little. My shirt size is an L my jacket is an XL and this product was a XXL

Everyone loved it

I used this as part of a 17th century French nobleman’s costume and it came out nicely. I got lots of compliments, even though most of the young adults had no idea who the Marquis de Sade was…I did need to spend about 45 minutes steaming the wrinkles out of it before it was presentable.For occasional costume use it should be great, but I’m not sure how well it would hold up under heavier use. I have not tried to clean it yet.

Typical Halloween costume quality fabric which was expected. But people aren't kidding that the sizes run huge!! Im a woman's L-XL, I got a medium to be safe and it's still way too big!

This jacket arrived damaged and is not as pictured. The product listing shows gold buttons on the garment and the jacket I received has silver buttons. The buttons are cheap plastic and one of the buttons had broken and fallen off the jacket before I even took it out of the packaging. I would expect much better quality for the price of this item. I would not recommend this product.

It's great

This was used as part of a Wizard of Oz costume, and as you can see in the photo I freaking nailed it. Reviews were iffy about the sizing so I ordered a size larger (xxl), which worked, but if I knew how well it fit I would have ordered my regular size (xl). The quality of the material is a slick type of satiny poly blend or something, but it has a liner and built in vest, and it does not feel like a cheap costume piece. The gold buttons and trim look great, the color was great and it even kept me warm on a cold Halloween, as coats do. I came bunched up in a bag, which cause some wrinkles in the fabric which I could not get out by ironing with a towel on top of the coat, and I wouldn’t suggest putting an iron directly on the material. However, if you could steam it it might get those creases out. Being a Halloween costume, I wasn’t too concerned about the wrinkles since they were limited to just one or two somewhat small areas. It didn’t feel too heavy or too light, the tails were perfect length and it was very comfortable to wear. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of costume coat. I would say the price is a little high for just a Halloween costume, but it is comparable to similar items of similar quality. I was satisfied with the purchase overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a costume tailcoat of decent quality.
