Looks stylish, not like the plastic cheap looking ones. No visible buttons.Works very well, not too sensitive but goes off when there is a small amount of smoke. Very loud, Easy to reset.I will be buying another one once it needs replaced

I wanted a very easy smoke alarm to set up that didn’t need drilling in place as I cannot do this myself . Thank goodness for the other review regarding how firm you need to be to get it working ! This took me several attempts with coffee in between and a lot of swearing . You have to really ensure that you align the plate correctly and have to press really really hard ‘ turning at the same time to get it set up . It looks great and is easy to fix onto the ceiling but good grief why is it so hard to get it set up . It really should not be this difficult !! It’s not cheap but does look good once in place .

Bought this for my bedroom as I wanted a smoke alarm that looks good and doesn't have a LED on all the time.There is an LED under the fabric that comes on but very rarely.Easy to install, either screw to ceiling or use the supplied sticky back pad.Smaller than I imagined. Discreet and good looking even when noticed. Way better looking than your average smoke alarm.

I love this product it looks fabulous, easy to install with two options, you can use screws or use the sticky pads. It's a little tricky working it, you must read the leaflet, even though I read it on first installation, I have now forgotten how to work it after couple of months, make sure you keep hold of the leaflet.

I purchased and installed three of these less than a year ago on a ground and first floor. Within three months, one sounded randomly in the middle of a cold (around 0 degrees) night on the second floor. I assumed it was due to condensation and gave it a second chance. It woke us again a few weeks later on a warmer night so I replaced it with another. The other was set off in the middle of a moderate summer night, so I assumed it was faulty and removed it. Shortly after the downstairs alarm also sounded randomly in the middle of an otherwise pleasant and smokeless summer night. Their appearance is delightfully discrete and their alarms suitably alarming, but their alarm being set off appears to bear no relation to fire or smoke in my experience.

As everyone else has said, it's a bit tricky to set up. I was trying to twist the outside edge of the back plate but you actually need to push down and twist the middle section. Use the palm of your hand with a rubber glove on haha!! It clicks a few times and you're ready to put up. It's stuck well so far.... Can't show you a photo as it's grey on a grey wall so completely camouflaged!!! Exactly the point!! No more ugly white plastic alarms. Not sure how I'm supposed to remember when it's 10 year life is up???? I'm hoping it starts beeping or something!?!?
