Great amp. Quiet, powerful & clear audio
The audio from this amp really surprised me. I’m a big fan of Crown (for the last 26 years) but they don’t make 2-input, 4-output amps and buying 2 Crown amps for 4 speakers was too expensive for me. This is for a recording studio so fan noise is a factor. After testing this amp for 10 mins mounted in a rack, neither of the fans ever came on. I had the volume loud powering 2 Alesis Monitor Twos & 2 Samson Resound 18” subs using the 2 input sources and 4 speaker terminals . The audio was clear and the bass was punchy. I’m glad I made this purchase. Apart from the performance, the unit is built like a tank & the screw holes were precise. The Blue LEDs are pretty and not distracting. I used 2 pairs of Speakon to Banana Plug adapters to screw the speaker wires to.Thank you for a good product I could afford.

It Works
The unit works as it was supposed to. However the bright blue lights located on each knob make it difficult to see the position of the buttons.

Works Great
We have a fellowship hall which seats about 80 with round tables. Without tables could get 140 ish people comfortably in the space. This amp comfortably drives our existing L&R PA and fills the room with more than enough sound for what we need (spoken word and occasional music). Paired with a generic rackmount 15 band EQ so we can offload the low end to our subwoofer (not powered by this amp) and make a couple fine adjustments. Fan noise is acceptable and is not any louder than our HVAC. You have to be close to the rack to hear it.
