YIMI Polarized Photochromic Driving z87 Sunglasses For Men Women Day and Night safety glasses

Very adequate for driving, just not with a Heads-Up display!
I got these for what I hoped were finally polarized sunglasses that would work with my windshield HUD/Heads-Up- Display that, like, most all makes and model vehicles, uses a polarized process for display on the windshield surface. Considering these are a tad lighter then my current driving sunglasses, I was hoping I'd be able to read the display, even if I needed to turn up brightness to max.Sadly, even though lighter in tint when they darken, they completely block out the display as if it's off.I had a vehicle which offered super brightness and worked with polarized sunglasses, but, I think that was a rare opportunity.Bottom line, if you do not need sunglasses for using your heads-up display, these would work perfectly for driving glasses. These do fit very comfortably and use a very clear and have a lens with zero distortion. They are extremely light in weight and rest very comfortably on the nose.If you use your heads-up display or try to with your current polarized sunglasses, these are worth trying, as you might be lucky with your vehicle! Google the heads-up issue for your year and model and you might find some helpful info on user forums online!5 stars all around for these and the fact they do not work w/ polarized heads-up displays is NOT the manufacturers fault at all!

Perfect blend of safety and style!
Love these YIMI photochromic sunglasses! They adjust smoothly between light and dark, making them perfect for day and night driving. Super lightweight and comfortable, plus they meet Z87 safety standards — great for work too. The fit is unisex and looks sleek. Polarization helps a lot with glare, especially during long drives. If you need reliable, stylish eye protection, these are a solid pick!

Good fit but lens is a bit dark
The fit and level of polarization of these glasses is good. One thing I’m dissatisfied with is that they are always somewhat dark even when wearing them after sunset. I bought these to play pickleball and sometimes they are too dark for me to wear for eye protection, and I find myself removing them. I had hoped that the photochromic lens would go to near clear in low light situations, but it remains somewhat dark making it difficult to see.

Polarized, Yes. Photochromic, No. Looking for a Light Tint Sunglasses? This Is It
I lost my transition/photochromic prescription glasses I use for riding motorcycle. In my research, I came into this pair.Looking at the lenses, they're lightly tinted, which is what I want and they work great at that. The polarized pattern seem to be separated in 3 areas, upper, middle, lower. The middle part has the least pattern when seeing through. I wish it's the lower part, so it won't look as weird when looking at the motorcycle's display.Lowered from 4 to 3 stars, because it's not really photochromic/transition, it doesn't go completely clear, there's always a tint and this makes it not suitable to use when it gets darker... I have to stop to take them off. Still a decent pair, just don't work as advertised as well as they should be.Overall, they work for me. Though I'd love to find a regular light-tint glasses. The search continues.

Too big, although nice and light tweight
I was happy to receive them within the time frame identified at the time of purchase. I was also happy that they were so lightweight and comfortable but when I tried them one, they were a bit too big, which meant that after wearing them for a while, they've would fall off my face, so I sent them back.

Did not reduce glare or blurriness during night driving
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that my vision has changed when I’m driving at night. Things look a little more blurry, and I noticed a lot more glare. It’s especially worse when it’s dark and raining. I wear contact lenses and get my vision checked regularly. My prescription has not changed and it seems fine during the day. I saw these glasses on Amazon and thought I would give them a try to see if they could help with the glare and blurriness at night. I first tried them on a rainy night while riding as a passenger on the freeway. I put the glasses on and took them off several times to see if there was a difference and I saw none. I tried them another time while I was driving at dusk and again saw no difference. Lastly, I tried them on a dry dark night and the glare from other cars headlights was still just as bad with or without the glasses. I came to the final conclusion that these glasses do not work to reduce any glare or blurriness for me during night driving. I do not recommend them if that’s the reason why you are buying them.

Not up to Varilux standards, but not bad considering the modest price.
Nicely designed and crafted with reasonable degrees of photo-sensitivity.

Does not darken in direct sunlight
Waste of money. These are not sunglasses nor are they truly polarized.
