The Govee Pro Outdoor Lights have completely transformed my outdoor space! One of the main reasons I chose the Pro version was their ability to produce warm and bright white lights, perfect for creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The brightness and color options are fantastic, allowing me to set the perfect mood for any occasion, whether it’s a relaxing evening or a festive gathering. The app control is intuitive, and the variety of preset scenes and customizable options make it so much fun to use. These lights are also weatherproof and durable, standing up to rain and wind without any issues so far.Installation was a breeze, and the quality of the materials is excellent. If you’re looking to elevate your outdoor lighting game, these are an absolute winner!

It seems like Govee is selling a lot of these as we are seeing them on a lot of houses. Despite needing to get on the ladder, they were easy to install. The kit included all the connectors and wires needed to skip the non-eve portions of the house. The lights work well and are very adjustable. Connects well to wifi and the app is easy to use. I run them at 3% brightness because our neighborhood is pretty dark and they provide nice ambience.

I was really worried how tacky they'd look before buying them, but when I saw that the Pro versions had better and different temperatures of white I got 'em. These you can be as subtle or vibrant as you want which is perfect for what I needed. The app has a lot of very cool scenes as seen in the pictures attached.Most of the time that I have these lights on they're at the exact shade as my other exterior light but I love the option to do a little light show if I want to. I tried something a bit different because I have a non walking overhang that sits 17' below the roof above. So I took a row of the Govee's and pointed them upwards which I have not seen elsewhere (though I'm sure others have). The results ended up creating what I think is the best part of the entire set up (Pics 3 & 5). It takes sometime to install them, but it really wasn't too hard. I'm in SoCal so temperature didn't affect the 3M stickies.

These lights are awesome. They aren’t that easy to install on stucco. They are brute and the app is decent. I like the ability to keep them up year round and the ability to change color/design for the specific holiday.

The media could not be loaded. Installed the product about a month ago. Very sharp and versatile product that will wow your neighbors. I have had multiple comments already. Compared to a lot of the other LED lights Govee's app is second to none. They have taken a lot of the feedback from prior customers and improved upon the product in the latest version. Really like the product, everytime I come home I switch to a new theme within the app. It takes about 10 seconds to switch and keeps the lighting fresh for any occasion.Like: The brightness and overall ease to install these are a big benefit. You can't just jump up and complete them but Govee is correct with enough planning you can install these pretty easy. Just take your time and you'll have less to worry about in the future. The App is really strong compared to competitors. It is extremely easy to use and now that there is a sharing and DIY function there will at some point be tons of different light schemes for all occasions. I actually enjoy the AI feature a lot although i think it has some iterations to go through before it is stronger. Love the overall theme of lights and liked the cleanness.Dislike: Splicing (While much easier than previous versions) still needs much improvement. Would be great to have a cheap tool in there to strip the wire easier. My wire stripper was not small enough for the tiny wires. The middle cord (Yellow) was absolutely tiny, it was almost impossible to get a consistent connection after splicing everything on the middle wire as it was smaller than the other 2.Pucks don't stick that well. Will be less work YOY to stick them back in, but 3M are not really sticking up withe weather in the middle of the country.Future Improvements for Company: Would love to see iteration 3 or 4 come out the door in the next couple years. I think the company is close dominating the market with their lights, but I do some improvements listed below:Find a better alternative than 3M for your adhesive. Not strong enough in all environments. 1 Month in used all the videos for advise and have had 6 pucks already fall. I will probably find alternatives to keep them in place, but was weakest point of product.Wires were too small to strip and were a bit of a nightmare still. Would like to see slightly bigger wires easier for splicing. Would also be nice to obtain some sort of stripping object in package made for the wires. (Awesome idea for stripping though was necessary to make the product user friendly -- Best add on with the pro version)Would be nice to have some sort of mapping tool or double use with the AI to advise how much product a user needs to light their house. With the stripping and extension cords was a little hard to plan if I needed 100ft or 150 ft.The lights are rated IP67 which is great should work in most conditions, however, the power backup is not. I ended up purchasing a box to store the box in, but the power adapter is not made for laying on the ground in snow or rain. This doesn't make sense for outdoor product at all.Lastly, sell your extension cords in more lengths and on your store. They are extremely helpful for cleanness and all of your buyers that are purchasing these expensive lights want to do good work. (Buyers beware after certain extension length the extension cords will start to drop lighting through your display) you don't want more than 15 to 20 ft extension at any one point or you might have issues.Tips for first time buyers: Do your homework. Yes these stay for longer but you have to do the math right and you need to figure out a way to do this seamlessly across your house from left to right. There is very little wiggle room to make jumps. These need to be put up in warmer weather like the 50s or above or the 3M stickies do not work well. Watch 5 to 10 videos on putting it together, there is great help out there that can assist. Plan a full day for installation and take your time. Measure 10 times before ordering, I was sketchy on 100ft, barely made it, but probably should've done 150 ft to get the last peek. Lastly, once you've set your product for a couple weeks find the weak pucks that fall and set them really well by locking them into place. I ended up stapling some sections to keep them up.

I have mixed feelings about these lights. I’m giving it a bad review because at the price they are selling this product these issues shouldn’t exist.I bought them back in thanksgiving as they were on special. After installing them, within a week the M3 adhesive started failing in some surfaces, which tells me M3 is not sufficient for this product. I used my 3D printer to make a chasis so that I could use screws to mount these guys more “permanently”, after all these are permanent lights.Once the installation issues were fixed, the configuration was not super impressive. The app is cluttered with a bunch of options and they even have a section to buy more products, feels like we entered a market place, a cheap feature for a high end product. You cant even configure the product if you dont turn it on.Next comes the automation, I setup a task to run the lights from 7:00pm to 11:00pm, I’ve tried a few different methods and for some reason this doesnt seem to work, sometimes the lights turn on, but not off. Sometimes they dont turn ON at all, it feels like a random behavior, again I feel this should be a trivial thing to setup…One upside.. the lights are very nice and the light effects are great!Given the choice I wouldn't buy this again, and totally would discourage people from trying going thru the frustration.
