Takes a lot of messing around and does not state that you require SIM card/sd sim and very hard to get any information on how to fit properly or ask any questions about product not been able to use yet as I just can’t work it out so I cannot rate this product

This is item does not work well in a moving car you need to be parked up in clear space no buildings and not moving so in reality its a waste of money and not fit for the purpose so to be brutal but it needs a far better ariel.

Installed in a VW Touran into the over head compartment. Ran a cable up from the fuse box behind the A pillar cover. It has both a batt and acc but makes no difference as it saves your TV channel regardless and doesn't save your position on USB movies, so just installed it as ignition power only. At first I couldn't get a decent DTV signal tried lots of different places inside the car at the top of windscreen and stuck behind the rear view mirror which worked ok when stopped. Anyway I was considering buying a bigger antenna for the roof then thought as a last ditch effort I would cable tie the original antenna to the front roof bar and now works amazingly even when on the move! Would have given 5 stars apart from the fact it does not save your position on USB movies even when tested with direct batt and separate acc.

Bought the Xtrons FV014 to replace the Japanese TV system in my JDM imported vehicle. I've tried everything to get it to work on my Pumpkin had unit including applying handbrake (to activate safety switch), Selecting Park, Drive, Neutral and Reverse. I've dug deep into the head unit's User Settings to over ide things but still no luck. The aerial is placed horizontally on the top of the front windscreen.Currently in talks with Xtrons supplier on Fleabay to replace although looking at the reviews after I purchased it......i'll be steering clear of the Xtron clowns company. Brilliant customer service from Fleabay seller to be fair.

I fitted this today and works great when stationary only with the aerial supplied and catches most of the channels . Dont believe all the reviews you read this is decent for the money your paying and also allows playback music and videos from USB. I only gave it four stars as of course if your driving it flicker and eventually no signal dependant on speed/wind either way still amazing!
