The right angle works great
My old cord kept coming out so I was happy to see a cord with a right angle. Now the cord stays plugged in.

Good solid extension.
I needed just a bit more than my old optical cable had when mounting my new TV. This was a perfect adapter, and makes a good solid connection.

Great quality, great connector, braided and strong ends.
both cables came in and they look and work amazing. So far no drops on the signal, I used the 90-degree one on my avr, and sounds and works as it should.the ends are well made, and the quality of the material looks and feels like this will last. the cable is thick which is great with optical cables as these are easy to break when thin.The plug connector was a bit strong to plug but this guarantees no drops and an excellent connection between both optical ends.

Not bad, but a bit flimsy.
***FULL DISCLOSURE: Item was received for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.***While this cable / adapter was as advertised, I was not impressed with the build quality.While the braided cable section itself feels very stiff and robust, the connectors leave a lot to be desired. The connectors feel loose and flimsy, and on one end, the sheath slid off almost completely making it impossible to seat the cable in the middle of hooking it up; I had to pull it back out and futz with it to get it back into a usable condition.Maybe I just got a bad set, but who knows. It works, but I probably would have been a lot less satisfied if I had paid full price.

Worked well with Ansten headphones
This four-feet extension worked well with our Ansten wireless headphones. The cable was well-made and fit as described. At first, it seemed a bit loose but in the end, everything came together as expected and our wireless headphones continues to work without a glitch.
