Great product
This is brilliant product and I would buy it again. I would recommend buying the little unit that goes with it. It lets you read the charging indicators.

Powerful
This is a really good product. It is to be left to charge a pickup and it's working so well I bought a second one to charge a mower.

Simply hasn't worked. Is it faulty?
Purchased in September this year to trickle charge a 12v motorcycle battery (as I don't use the bike during the winter). As there's no power to the garage I felt this might be the solution. Look...you don't have to be Stephen Hawking's love child to know that the sunnier the position the better it will be....but it's not having any impact at all - I test the battery charge on a regular basis and it's gone down, down and flat..... The charger has done nothing. I'm thinking, "is it faulty? Surely it should do something..?". The blue light comes on at the side...just. It's the only light I can see. As a test I covered the panel's surface area and the light goes out - so I assume if it's on it's working. But......as I say...it's done nothing. Oh, and I did check the trickle charger connection on the bike with a meter (when I stowed it) and it proved to be connected correctly to the battery as it showed 12.8 which is about right). It's odd how the latest reviews show it's fantastic (especially given that only 55% give it 5 stars) but maybe I'm the unluckiest person alive - who knows. But all I can say is....it didn't work.

It works well enough but the listing is... creative
I've had some experience with slimline solar panels working on narrowboats and while this panel is fuctional and easy enough to use it lacks a certain finesse that you see on slightly pricier panels, and in some cases I do mean slightly.Voltage in reasonable light is good and as a trickle charge or low-power top-up like to a camper or caravan while you're out for the day it's great, but definitely be careful where you mount it as I feel it's most susceptible to shock/vibration (so no despite the listing I'd advise against mounting to a snowmobile). It's not possible to get the full picture about solar panels in a month so I'll come back later with an update after it's had some use and some weather.
