Love it! it's super easy to use to make empanada's and fried pies! Easy to clean and fits in any drawer.

Maker does not seal well
The actual empanada press does not seal well, you can actually see it in one of the review photos. I’ve tried using it with different batches of dough and while some parts will seal, overall if I want a tight seal I need to go back over it with a fork.The reason I give it a 4/5 stars is really for the mat, dough scrape and the rolling pin which were the redeeming parts of the purchase. The mat is very well made, sticks to the table well and does not move when rolling. Cleans up very well too. Rolling pin is basic, but I loved using it for some reason and the dough scrape just fit well in my hand so it was good to use when I needed it.

One of the best purchases
I frequently make empanadas-they’re great to throw in the lunch box. I was using the “seal with a fork” method which works but is time consuming. This simple gadget drastically cut prep time and works awesome. I’ve used several times. It’s easy to clean and durable!
