Beautiful toy. Highly detailed with opening doors, hood and rear tail section
This is a beautiful 1/24 Scale model of a Bugatti Bolide. This is a specialized hyper car made only for track use.The model looks very realistic. The body of the model is a close match to the real-life car. This includes the wheels, rear tail section, air scopes and the views from all 4 sides. Even the two-tone paint job is accurate. The stance of the model is extremely close to the ground which is how it should be and is with the actual car.The model itself is made from mostly die cast metal with some plastic components. The plastic components include the bottom chassis, the aerodynamic scopes behind the doors, the details under the front hood and rear tail (engine bay) and the wheel covers to mention a few. Of course, the front windshield is also clear plastic. The model is strong. Put together as one unit with tight gaps and fine details. This is a model of a modern hyper car, so the edges of the model body are sharp. This sharp definition is clearly seen in the air vents on the doors and the back and front and back views of the car. Everything is sharp and looks cut off in the interest of aero dynamics as it is again on the real car.And like the real car, the flat panels of the model are smooth and undulating like waves to direct the wind without providing any resistance.I really like how the makers of this model have duplicated the design components down to this small scale. You can really get the feel of how beautiful the real car must be. It is this duplication of the real car that draws my attention to the models. For the younger owners, the model car features motor like sounds. It even features a strong friction motor to drive it forward smoothly on your kitchen floor. The car also has head and tail lamps that illuminate. This model is good enough for display on a shelf but not so expensive that it cannot be played with as a toy. My grandson loves the exotic cars. Like me when I was young, he already knows the names. This was the reason we ordered this particular toy for him. The Bugatti name is known for the highest levels of exotic cars. I'm sure this will light his imagination laying on the ground next to it and imagining driving it. I'm sure he will recognize and appreciate the details which make this car stand out. He'll be thinking one day I'll own one of these. For me I'm thinking it will probably be electric. If you like highly details scale model toys like this one. And your budget allows this type of product, this is a good one to consider. It's an example of a modern state of the art exotic super car. This spaceship is actually driving on the track.
