I've been an Enya fan for years and this album didn't disappoint - I listen to it most days and am learning to play a couple on the piano ! May she keep making heavenly music for many years yet

My most recent Enya find. This is a great, entertaining songbook. Includes two of my favorites, Pale Grass Blue and Diamonds on the Water.Notice that it is all songs: no instrumental pieces. Enya departed from her usual way of opening with an piano solo... which I do miss on this album. Listening to her thoughtful piano solos was always a great introduction to her songs.The arrangements are easy/intermediate level. I sight read fairly well, so can play almost all of these without much effort. If you are not as advanced with sight reading, don't worry. Most of the songs are pretty simple, with plenty of repetition. The beauty of Enya is it's so easy to memorize. My thoughts on each song in the book:The Humming- nice arrangement but I don't play it as I find the tune repetitive.So I Could Find My Way- lovely, easy playEven in the Shadows- challenging but funThe Forge of the Angels- A long, entertaining, moody play. This would be a great one to memorize.Echoes in Rain- somewhat disappointed in the arrangement. I expected more from this one. Especially disappointed in the piano solo part.Sancta Maria- again, I never play this as the tune's too repetitive for me.I Could Never Say Goodbye- lovely, easy play. Get your dramatic on.Dark Sky Island- Easy, soothing playAstra Et Luna- It's fine. Not a favorite.The Loxian Gates- good funDiamonds on the Water- Excellent! Love the arrangement. I play this one a lot.Solace- beautiful, easyPale Grass Blue- challenging solo part. The only piece in the book that I can't sight read... worth the extra effort though. Good arrangement.Remember Your Smile- nice. Short and sweet.

Actually harder to play than some of her earlier material, but just as beautiful.
