mango mango
Very expensive but much appreciated by the mango trees which are flourishing and produced several fruit . Unfortunately Hurricane Debby knocked the fruit off the branches but they were still quite tasty with a spicy flavor. They have survived in NE FL which is in zone 9 and can get quite cold for a few days.

Not great for mango
You need more additives to make this soil into what it’s advertised for. Good draining soil but not great nutrient-wise for mango.

Effective!
I've never used this type of soil before but it set my plants OFF! They all grew large and plentiful when I added them to my normal mix. Bag is good and sturdy with zip top that stays shut. Very impressed with this soil!

Great Soil Even if you dont have a Mango Tree
This soil is very airy I added it to my avocado tree, but it is a light and airy mix that doesn't compact down too much But does a little since it has sand or a gritty substrate in it so I would not put it in Anthuriums or something that requires air to get to roots as it make compact over time and cause rot. But other than that its a great substrate for one plant or maybe several smaller plants as with only a quart theres not much to go around.

Rich Blend. Small Quantity. Promising Results From My Seeding.
I’m trying to grow a mango tree from seed, and I figured it might help to grow it in soil specifically designed to nurture a young mango tree. With the 1-quart quantity I ordered, I wouldn’t want to try using this with anything larger than a seed. And I’ve started it inside a fairly small pot, since I won’t be putting the plant in the ground until it’s sapling-sized. The soil does look rich, and I’m happy that it includes only natural ingredients. Since planting the young sprout in this mix with a little bit of added perlite to fill the pot I had on hand, it has been growing quite nicely here in Florida and looks healthy so far. I’m happy with the results!

Enough to start a mango seed.
This is a nice mix but it is a super small bag. I will have to mix it with more soil to make it enough for my 3 gallon pot. I think this would be enough to start the seed in in a 1 gallon pot. It is a fine mixture which is nice for the roots to be able to move.

Mango Tree Seems Much Healthier
My mango tree was starting to look a bit unhappy. I had been meaning to repot it but had gotten behind after surgery. I finally repotted it with this soil blend, some more peat moss and perlite, some transplant supplement, and more garden soil. That was about a week ago and it has been looking much happier! Some of the brown spots have disappeared and it is standing up straighter.
