It works really good without chemicals. It lasts alot longer covering my grays than the ones I used to buy at store.

I’ve repurchased this henna brand several times. I massage it in and don’t look at the clock at all, rather catch up on home multitasking. When I finally remember I have had henna in my hair for several hours, I jump in the shower. I find the longer this product sits on your head the better the color retention. My hair always looks & feels healthy afterwards, and the black color is true. Henna has been a win win for me- checks the boxes.

I've been using this henna dye for 1 year & a half. It's the only hair dye that works for my stubborn grey hair. You only leave it on for 30 minutes. It's really good that strong on grey hair. I buy this product yearly. It doesn't miss.

My hair was mid brown to blonde in the ends (ends fade with the sun exposure) and I was hoping for a slightly darker uniform color. Well it came out almost black! (I used the dark brown henna) but that’s fine as I’m told it does fade a bit. And my husband likes the color!I used all the packets in the one box, starting with that thick paste. and realized later in the game that it was much easier to get into my hair if I just added more water to it. I brought it to the consistency of a muddy soup. Very messy but much easier! Which leads me to believe that if you do it with damp hair to begin with, the application will probably be easier and still get a good effect.The mess I made was miraculously easy to clean, I was surprised that I didn’t ruin my bathroom! No stains.After just a rinse, my hair did feel sticky - so I went back with a deep condition, then wash and condition again, and my hair feels great!My hair always falls out after coloring with normal dyes but today, all my hairs are still on my head!! Huzzah! I’m glad I finally found a product that doesn’t destroy my hair!

My previous review does not appear but I wanted to warn others -- just like the many previous users who also had allergic reactions. First of all my hair was black after using this and I broke out in hives all over my scalp and had a terrible burning, itching -- it was HORRIBLE and very PAINFUL! Next came the hair loss :((((((((. DO NOT USE THIS TOXIC, TERRIBLE PRODUCT. I CALLED AMAZON TO WARN THEM AND I AM SHOCKED TO SEE THAT EVEN WITH SO MNAY COMPLAINTS THIS PRODUCT IS STILL BEING SOLD ON HERE...DO NOT USE THIS!!!!!!!!!

It worked despite getting a batch that was close to the expiration date (bottom of box and sachets indicate expiration: 07/2025). I did things differently though; I applied it on the same day I washed with only shampoo my hair to ensure there was no oils or any type of build up on the hair so the henna could adhere easily, then towel dried it and used lukewarm water instead of regular cold water to mix the Vatika henna and instead of 40 ml I used 35 ml to make a thicker mixture. No allergic reaction so I left the henna longer on my hair and then rinsed and towel dried it.

This was my first time trying this product. The last time I used a Hannah product it was a different brand and I did not have an allergic reaction. However, I did have an allergic reaction to this product. Here’s some of the good things I like to say of this product. the color was extremely nice. The coverage on the gray was also nice and it was easy to apply. The not so good obviously the allergic reaction my scalp is still itching on day number 2. Have a few scabs, from unintentionally scratching hard. My scape is very irritated and pink. I used Hannah hair dye once maybe three years ago it was a different brand, but I did not experience any side effects. And purchasing this product I couldn’t remember the name of the other brand so I just went with this one. That’s the only reason that I put it in my cart. My hair hadn’t been washed in two days as recommended. When I washed this product off, I was at my mother’s house and I used OlaPlex shampoo and conditiner. I typically use the shampoo and conditioner from L’Oreal pure Vida. So I’m not if that had anything to do with my allergic reaction I highly doubt it, but mentioning just in case. I did apply some heat to it and I want to say I left it for about an hour. The box does recommend 30 minutes however, I saw some YouTube videos that said that you can leave it on a little bit longer so that the color stays longer. Hopefully the irritation goes away soon but I would recommend to do a spot check if you decide to purchase this product.

My mother used to put hanna on her hair to cover her white hair, I bought this product and she really liked it, its works really great she want more.
