I had the SOULION R50 bluetooth for a while and just decide to use it with my new projector. It is a compact and stylish soundbar that's great for casual desktop use. It offers clear stereo sound for music, movies, and gaming, and features fun RGB lighting with multiple modes, all powered via USB with both Bluetooth and 3.5mm input options. Setup is easy, and the angled design helps direct audio toward you. While the sound quality is solid for the price, especially in mids and highs, it lacks deep bass and can distort at higher volumes. It’s a good budget-friendly option for everyday use, as long as you don’t expect room-shaking audio. No battery to charge and it is good quality for money!

These speakers are easy to set up and connect with both Bluetooth and the aux cable. The sound is clear with good balance for music and videos, and the volume is strong enough for a desktop setup. I like the LED light modes, which add a nice touch to the desk. The compact design also saves space. Great option for everyday computer use.

Setting up the Bluetooth connection was a breeze, linking to my laptop and phone in seconds. I love the option for wired input for simplicity. Very nice unit with reasonable sound. The R50 is supposed to have good base response, but I don't find it all that base-y. Still, it plugged right in and worked without any fiddling. I did have to crank up the line-out signal so that I didn't have to wind the R50 dial all the way to 10.The unit is nicely made and looks very nice tucked under my monitor. I would suggest that this is a good product for the price.It has LEDs that, as am old man, don't add to my enjoyment, but there is a little button on the side to turn them off. A nice detail, actually.

The media could not be loaded. DESIGN: The design of this speaker is nice, but it's probably much larger than it would need to be. I suppose that helps with the bass response somewhat.SOUND QUALITY: Barring the other issues mentioned below, this speaker preforms as expected for the price point. Volume is decently loud without overdriving the speakers and bass response is better than expected. The midrange is somewhat muddy and the highs are a bit harsh, though.ISSUES: Both of these issues led to me nearly returning the speaker, but I found a solution for both. These may not be worth the effort for most people, however.1. Other reviewers have mentioned a "staticky" sound they noticed. I noticed this too. It occurred across the entire range of the speaker and at all volumes. This sound is caused by the design of the speakers themselves. The tinsel lead wire is too long and thus is vibrating against the spider and diaphragm of the speaker (see video). I pulled the slack out and resoldered the wires, alleviating the issue somewhat.2. Another complaint I noticed is that system sounds are low or muted. This is because the speaker has a noise gate programmed in, meaning they basically turn off when there is no output to avoid low background interference/buzzing. This is a cheap workaround to proper shielding and grounding that you would see in a higher-end speaker. This seems to be pronounced in AUX mode more so than Bluetooth mode. I programmed a Python script to play a low level, low frequency (5Hz) sound to in the background and on startup. This has completely fixed the issue. I've included a screenshot of my Python script for those inclined to try this. To run on startup, you'll need to create a batch file to add to your startup programs folder in Windows. You'll want to run this in pythonw.exe to avoid the command line popping up.
