I've bought SO many Apple HomeKit devices, and this one was by far the easiest to set up. It just worked, perfectly, quickly, on the first try. Love it.

I believe I have purchased at least 3 of these for my apple home. They are bright, responsive, dim nicely, and have a variety of colors. I mainly use the homekit app to set their colors via automations but sometimes I will use the VOCOlinc app to create some fancy patterns. The drop occasionally from homekit but it just a simple hard reset via unplugging for 1-2 minutes and plugging back in. I would say this happens on average about 1 time a week but sometimes before I even do the hard reset it fixes itself. I have about 50+ devices in my apple home from various manufacturers so it is to be expected but I would say these are very reliable which is why I have so many VOCOlinc products in my apple home. Highly recommend as the price is great and even better when they are on sale during amazon Prime day!

It had constant connectivity problems. I’d unplug and then plug back in and it would be fine, then in the morning it would be “unresponsive.” Then it needed a firmware update and bricked itself. Completely non-responsive and I couldn’t even factory reset. Very disappointed because I’ve been buying and using VocoLinc products for years and this is the first one that’s frankly just missed the mark. (I have a different VocoLinc light right next to this one and it functions perfectly, so it’s not a WiFi issue). Will be returning it sadly.

Worked exactly as needed! No connection issues, they get super bright, and they work with HomeKit perfectly, which is amazing for the price point. Adhesive isn’t the greatest, but just grab some command strips to reinforce and you’re all set!

So I reviewed the vocolinc smart plugs and I said that the set up process is stressful. But the experience with the product is good. It’s the same story for this product. The setup process is stressful. It took 11 tries to get it set up. (It needs to be right next to the router) But after I got it setup it works great. No complaints. I think it was worth the struggle.

Worked flawlessly with HomeKit, for the price you can’t beat it

You get what you pay for. I needed a 6 foot strip and this fit the bill. Apple HomeKit is a must for me so it checks all my boxes. Would recommend good quality.

Product barely worked when I received. Drops connection constantly. Has to be reset over and over again. Reached out to troubleshoot and was treated terribly. I was told I would receive another but now they are saying they won’t replace for absolutely no reason.
