I have not have mites on our chickens
The powder seems to work well. I do the barley straw bedding once a week and shake into all corners and so far there has been not infestation of red mite.It would be easier if it was a puffer container to get into all the corners of the hen house.

Certainly Kills Mites
Have been using this for a while now, and it definately keeps the little blighters at bay. Living next to a wood I can be plagued with red mite, but used properly over a sustained period there is no sight of them at all. The trick is to give the hen house a good clean then leave a covering on the wood in the edges and corners where the red mite congregate. Believe me it really does work.

Great Value
I have used this mite powder for a few months now and it seems to be doing the trick. I had a bad infestation so I cleaned out the coop thoroughly using an insect spray into all the cracks in the wood. I did this every few days and also dusted the chicks with this powder as well as putting it in the coop and in the bedding.I keep checking and changing the bedding ever few days and so far I haven't seen any mites.
