I replaced my sliding door handles years ago with a product from ACE which never fit right. The lock was never able to latch, the entire mechanism was loose and not quite the correct size. So happy to see this product in the Amazon store. Fits perfectly, easy to install, quality craftsmanship, and looks good! I highly recommend it. Even went back and picked up the exterior handle. Love it.

Easy to install

The assembly includes a variety of parts to adapt to different situations. Although one reviewer claimed the key did work, care must be taken when putting the two sides together to ensure that the pin on the outside half fits in the slot of the inside half. The key may need to be inserted into the lock and turned during the install to position the pin correctly. It seems to be well made but is a little lighter weight than the original it was replacing. Was able to use the original handle bar with this new latch and lock set since the holes lined up exactly.

Solid build and fits like the original. Can’t beat this considering the same is sold at HD for twice this price!

great product not cheap design or easy to break or bend

I purchased 2 handles to add to the sliders on my apartment doors. They make it much easier to open & close. No more broken nails. 🙂 Very easy to install with a screwdriver. They don't look original to my door but blend well enough if you're not examining it up close. The function was key to me. The holes lined up perfectly - I believe that is a standard placement on American sliders at least. Btw, I didn't use the screws included, I reused the ones from the plate on the doors which were the proper length. The included screws were too long for my doors.Ignore the dirty windows in the picture. 😏

Super disappointed for the second time. I returned the first one I ordered got another one because the size of the unit fits perfect but after attempting to remove the latch once again, it cannot come out. I could not put the correct size latch that is needed the dang screw that is holding the latch wont budge. the more i try the more the head of the screw gets eaten out and starts to shed as if it is a cheap aluminum. Twice I attempted to do this. I returned the first order for the same reason. Never again. I tried. SEND ME BACK my money!
