Bought for guest book at wedding .It is a nice looking book . Just had a weird smell .kind of a Musty snell .

NiceThese are exactly the right size for filling in with pictures stories and memories to give for my wife and kids. The page texture is crafty messy looking. But I like it.

First: the book is about 4.5in a bit more x a tad over 6 in. see picsi love it. it looks exactly how i wanted, not brand new & handmade. someone else mentioned a garage type smell, and yes, the book has a musty smell, to me like an attic, but i LOVE that smell so its fine.i bought the lovers to record my tarot readings in because im a twice over gemini meaning the lovers is the gemini card in general & my specific birthday adds up to 6 which is the lovers card. not very common.i dont suggest this book for regular notebook use because the paper is very thick & i think overuse would cause them to become brittle. good for a diary or other stuff like that. once im out of pages i will be getting another one

Overall for $20 bucks - this isn’t a bad buy. It isn’t 100% perfect..but like I said for the price point & being made in Rajasthan 🤷🏻‍♀️But it seems I got a returned notebook 😞*My camera isn’t working; otherwise I’d upload the very OBVIOUS visuals•The plastic bag it came in was already ripped open (same size hole as if someone HAD already ripped it opened it to get the book out) — ok whatever, I can look past that•There is spill residue on the top binding of the book that spills over slightly onto the corner of the cover. Looks like a liquid, that’s now collected & covered in its own dirt/debris 🤢It’s very clear this isn’t a part of the journal in any way lol. You can literally *see* the spill pattern.I’m wondering if this is why it was returned in the FIRST place 🤔 and I just got the defective, already once returned version…— Unfortunately due to being disabled, I’m physically not going to be able to return it. Which does make me really sad.But I *needed* this notebook like, yesterday. I can’t afford to wait any longer, time wise.So I guess I’m just stuck with a dirty book 🫠PS: The book itself is just fine. The pages seem dyed well. The clarity of the images on the cover are good. Seems like real leather; smells vaguely of it too.There are a few loose threads around the cover that I’m scared to cut…. Cause it seems like it just may unravel the whole dang thing..Idk, but like I said, it’s $20 bucks 🤷🏻‍♀️

Arrived extremely quickly. Unfortunately, it also reeked of mildew/mold when I opened it and spores flew everywhere. I breathed in a lot, still in denial because I was so excited for this beautiful journal but it just seems like a bad omen or something now. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the hardware is literally corroded as well, like there's green oxidation and the inside of the latch is festering with mildew. I hope I'm not going to get ill from this I'm very concerned. This is beyond unacceptable, mold is a well known health hazard. Maybe the reason it was delivered so fast(I ordered yesterday) is bc the journal would have decomposed to a moldy pulp if it had taken any longer. Really unpleasant surprise at 10 am on a Friday.

Beautiful and exactly as pictured! Binding is great. Paper quality is great. Design is exactly as pictured.
