Fantastic to help with recovery after gym sessions
I got this for my partner who goes to the gym. After watching Eddie Hall (a lot!) I thought I would buy this and see if it helps. My partner said it has really helped with her recovery of his muscle's after the gym. It doesn't take so long for him to recover from the aches and pains now, so he can get back to the gym more often. It also tastes really nice!! ❤️

Lovely taste
Love this stuff. Really nice taste. Prefer to make mine with milk after a long run up in the hills. However, I couldn't give it the full 5 stars as it doesn't tell you on the tub the volume of water/milk to add the two scoops to. Had to email the company to find out. Apart from that though highly recommended.

Ordered loads in past normally great
Unfortunately a stone was found in the protein this time. Ordered previously and has been fine done the job.

Deliciously Dangerous Stuff!
Oh my goodness, this is totally dangerous stuff... why? Because the Cookies and Cream flavour is so delicious that I could totally drink it all the time!OK, maybe not *all* the time but you get my meaning. As a post-gym shake, this is very welcome because I can never eat before training, so by the time I'm done, I'm famished. This really hits the spot, and keeps me full until lunchtime.I've also discovered that if I'm feeling under the weather, and have lost my appetite, it makes a great meal replacer. However, given the amount of sugar in this, it's probably not wise to use like this on a regular basis!Mixing the Beast is easy; I use my immersion blender, which results in a smooth and creamy shake when made with either milk or water. I prefer to use about 350-400ml milk.Having said that it's easy to make up, the first time I made it - and not discovering the scoop, which was waiting to be excavated from the bottom of the jar - I weighed 80g into a glass, and foolishly tried to whisk it up. That didn't entirely go so well, and I ended up with a thick, gritty mess. Albeit a delicious thick, gritty mess. Next time, I dug around for the scoop, which gives a better idea of what 80g of powder looks like, and used my blender. Perfect! While the initial outlay does seem expensive, were I to buy 30 smoothies (30 is how many servings this enormous beast of a jar contains), it would cost me almost three times the price of the Beast Pharm Recover, and wouldn't have nearly as much protein.

Tastes great and an effective carbs to protein ratio
This protein recovery shake is a beast in both delivery and nutritional content, supplying you with over 2 kilos of heavy-duty post-workout shake powder - that's 30 shakes at the recommended strength, each at a substantial 320 cals and 25g per serving. One serving is two scoops, so it's easy enough to halve that if the full helping is too much for your own diet plan. The carbs to protein ratio is 2:1, so this is definitely aimed at those following a building regime - it's an excellent way to add some bulking to your diet without going the whole hog with a mass gainer powder. I've found mass gainers a bit too calorific in the past, while simple protein shakes haven't been substantial enough; this strikes a really happy medium, giving bulk while keeping the protein high as well.Flavour-wise, I can't fault it - the salted caramel variety is really creamy and very drinkable. It's one of those dessert flavour shakes that still manages to be a sweet treat even when made up with water alone, which is quite a bonus if you don't want the added lactose when mixing with milk. It mixes up and dissolves very quickly and easily in either, too.For muscle-building goals it's ideal, and the large bulk pack is good value too - I can very happily recommend this if you like dessert-style gym shakes.

Whey protein that tastes good but is very sweet
This container of Salted Caramel Whey protein is much big. It is 10 inches tall (25cm) by 7.5cm across (19.5cm) and weighs a full 2.4kg. It contains 30 servings of 2 scoops. The scoop had settled deeply into the whey protein (I would guess a full 3-4 inches deep in the protein so you may have to dig deep to find it).The powder mixes easily and has a pleasant taste (too sweet for me though really). There is a lot of sugar in this mix 42g per 100g. I think too much for me.
