I have twin 9-year-olds (1 boy 1 girl) and both are in scouts and other after-school activities. That being said it makes for endless Amazon shopping. The boy and girl scout packs they are in are VERY busy with outdoor activities. I had 2 pairs of binoculars and my son and I took them on a recent trip and I had no idea how big of pieces of junk they were. We borrowed a pair from another family and it was an amazing difference. Enough so that soon as we got back from our trip i decided to buy a new pair/pairs. The pair we borrowed did not have a brand name so i wasn't going to be able to get teh same brand but as always go onto amazon and look at some reviews and go from there. I decided to go with the Aurosports because checking the reviews and for under $30 it was a no brainer. We have taken theres on a couple outdoor activities now and they are SOOOOO much better than the ones we had from Big5.The good:1. The price can't be beat2. They are super compact3. The carrying case fit properly and its easy to get them in and out, plus it has a loop on the back so it is easy to attach to a backpack (that's what we did)4. The clarity is 100x better than the ones i got from big5.5. The brightness is 10x that of my older set!!! This almost seems more important than the clarity. At dusk my old sets are useless and these still held strong.6. They are proved durable. My 3 year old dropped them several times at the zoo and they are still perfect.7. I ordered a pair of these for myself, having somehow misplaced a significantly more expensive pair of Celestron’s I liked to take with me on hikes and out on my kayak. I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot for this price and had never heard of the company. When I tried them out, however, I was very surprised at how crisp and clear the optics are. I actually like them quite a bit better than the Celestron’s, which were 5 x the cost of these. I ended up ordering a second pair for my sister as a gift. They seem to be very well constructed and have a nice, easy to grip finish, while being just the right size and weight to carry along on outings where you wouldn’t want a large clunky pair of binoculars dangling around your neck. Definitely a well made, quality pair of binoculars for a very reasonable price. Worth every penny.

The binoculars were compact and provided clear sighting but took a little time to learn adjustments. After learning adjusts they worked very well and were easy to carry.

These are really nice. We live at the beach and have several pairs of binoculars including some expensive versions. We needed something small to carry with us on our bikes. Today we used them for Ocean gazing and WOW. Super clear, watched dolphins from afar, ships were "close" and very clear. I have very large hands yet these were still easy to use and my wife is very petite and was very comfortable using them as well. Highly recommend and what a great price point.

I got these to bring to a broadway show - they were fantastic and improved the viewing experience so much. I liked these so much I actually bought second pair so I didn't have to share them, hehe. Easy to hold, easy to adjust, and fit easily in my bag. They hold their adjustment perfectly - I didn't have to keep re-adjusting. The field of view was enough that I could see about 4 people at once if they were standing close together. They are clear and show every detail. These are also great for viewing nature, revealing colors on birds that were not apparent to me before. I love how grippy these are, they really feel solid and are a great choice for the price. They come with a carrying bag, and cap for the lenses. One of them came with a lens cleaning cloth, the other one didn't.

Tested the 15x and don't believe it is actually 15x power. In comparison with other binoculars the 15x seems more like 8x or 10x power.

My grandson and son-in-law love them. They take them on hikes.

Thank you very much for the great product. Since many days my kid was asking small binoculars that provided comfort, clear viewing, ease of use, easily portable. The light weight makes it much easier to hold them steady and also doesn't bother for kids and adults. I am impressed with how clearly; they focus and a good distance away too. A very nice price point for a good pair of binoculars! The outside of the shield is very quality and it has very good grip to hold it. And also, the picture clarity is very clear and feels like very near to me. One just needs to run the end of the strap through part of the buckle a third time.I appreciate the instructions sent with them - otherwise I might not have figured out how to focus them properly. It’s great that they are water proof as well because a lot of my use will be around water. I had an excellent view even after the sun went down. I wasn't expecting much but when I got them WOW this is the best pair I have I owned. Calibrate the binocular as instructed. It makes a good difference, if you care. It has a really good zoom.
