Since switching to making coffee at home, the biggest inconvenience has been not being able to throw away my cups when I take them somewhere that I don't want to have to carry around my thermos. I also wanted to keep it low waste and eco friendly, so was THRILLED when I found these compostable cups.As other reviews say, they do get discoloration around the mouth opening, and for that reason are good for single use. That being said, it didn't bother me.I am a very slow coffee drinker and found that these cups easily lasted me the day without breaking down.Would recommend!

Nice eco friendly cup. Looks good like from a cafe. It’a a regular size.

While the composting part seems cool, I haven't tried that (yet). Since we use these as to-go cups, they're not always back to throw in our compost pile.If you have really hot coffee, you'll appreciate the cardboard cup holders that come along.I sip my coffee more slowly than most and it's usually warm by the time I'm finishing it. Because I take so long with my coffee, I could see how the cup reacted. You should be able to see in one of the pictures that the cup cover is starting to get soft. Luckily, it lasted throughout my drinking. And luckily, I didn't experience the same issue with the cup itself. (It's nice that they're compostable, but you don't want them falling apart while you're drinking).

Sturdy, great quality

When you put this paper cup/lid up to your lips I feel that the paper produces a "dry mouth feel" sensation that takes away form the coffee. we did not en joy these cups although if your priority was Eco Friendly (as it was for our boating trip) then these still might be the right fit for you!
