Cuckoo-Palace German Cuckoo Clock - Blackforest Hillside Chalet with Wonderful Animals with Quartz Movement - 10 1/4 inches Height

I bought this cuckoo clock 2 years ago. So far this clock has been working well. The details of the cuckoo, cottage and animals of the clock shows the craftsmanship. The cuckoo opens its mouth and it is very cute. It plays music after the cuckoo goes back to the window, and there are 12 music. I thought I may get tired of listening to the same music. But the music is very short and so far I did not get tired of it. Only complaint I have on this clock is the color of the hands. They are brown and it is hard to see. I put stickers on them.

My 87 year old mother asked me to help find her a cuckoo clock on Amazon, and she liked this one, so I bought it and had it shipped to her as she lives in NJ and I live in AZ. She loves the look, the ease of operation, and the melodies. The clock arrived missing 1 shingle, so I contacted the seller who reached out to the manufacturer, and within 2-3 weeks my mom received not 1 but 3 replacement shingles! We appreciate this excellent customer service as my mom doesn't even own a computer and would not be able to go through the process of returning it for a replacement. Thumbs up!!!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted a cuckoo clock for over 30 years and I finally got one. I love everything about it except I can’t get the hour hand to work properly. The sound of the cuckoo keeps time correctly and is adorable. Happy sounds every hour😄 I wish there was a way to contact the seller directly for advice but I can’t seem to locate that option. I ordered the protection plan and I tried that road but that is a much more complicated road. I’m sure this is an easy fix, but none of the options on Amazon seem to address a problem with an hour hand. If this worked, I would give it 10 stars because the craftsmanship is so lovely. If anyone reading this can text some advice. I would greatly appreciate it!

The media could not be loaded. It’s exactly what I wanted as far as the look. But its functionality is off. The first one I got, the cuckoo didn’t come out and the hour hand didn’t work. I requested a replacement. The replacement was shipped before I returned the broken one and it came very quickly, which was great. The replacement, however, cuckoos at 14 after. I have reset it multiple times and I can’t get it to sound on the hour. It keeps time accurately, I just know when it’s 14 after now. If anyone has any tips on how to get it right, I would love to know. I know I could return it, but I’ve decided to live with it.

Waiting on a replacement. We have no sound and the minute hand does not go around without catching on the house.Trying for a replacement since it was a gift.Update: the picture is of our replacement. Straight out of the box a bird was broken off.Do they just repackage the returned? Such poor quality it can’t handle shipping. Sad
