Great stuff but I didn't know it was red!
I bought this to repair Bose earbuds which sound great but have 4 or 5 nicks in the coating. The goop is very thick and viscous but went on easily without any real spillage or waste. However, the buds are black & white so this stuff looks like red candle wax drippings. My daughter thinks it looks like blood! I mostly wear it around the house or walking the dog so I'm unconcerned as is the dog. If I wore them to the office I wouldn't be nearly as happy - it's the modern day version of eyeglasses held together with masking tape.

Works great, smells bad.
I have used about half of the bottle and it has worked great for me so far. Sometimes you will have to apply a 2nd coat, after the 1st has dried well, which means its not as fast as electrical tape or wire nuts. It is usually thick enough with one layer for my applications. It bonds very well to everything I have put it on. Make sure you are in a fairly well ventilated space if solvent smells bother you.

Messy, short bottle
The bottle is too short to dip full length handles into.Even if you did, it tends to be schloppy and will run down the tool. The included brush is garbage, leaving major rumples and streaks in the coating. The coating will shrink to fit somewhat, but air bubbles and runs will still be visible. The best way to go about it is to put on 3-4 thin coats and let them dry a couple of hours between. Also, make sure you have plastic down, or paper. This is vinyl and a solvent, so it will damage most finishes if it drips on and is left for a little while. (It pulled the PU finish off of a tabletop.)Also, peel off any old, plastic coatings. This will not bind with existing, fully cured vinyl.Usage and complaints aside, it is what it is. There's not really anything better available. This is the same color and texture as the OEM plastic on some Chieftan pliers/dikes I have from 30 years back. Coatings stick to themselves, and the finish is durable.

GREAT stuff!
Our power cord for our laptop got chewed -- down to the bare copper wires! One application of this covered the wires, and has kept them safe for several months of hard use since then. It has saved us money and hassle. One downside: I (by accident) ordered the white, instead of the black, liquid tape -- so we have white splotches on our black cord. <vbg> Our mistake, and NOT something against the product; just a warning to check the color you're ordering, if you want your repairs to be less noticeable than ours are!

Great Product, Much Better Than Tape
I absolutely love this stuff, it goes on easy, in tight spaces it is easier to cover bare wires than tape. It's water/weather resistant (proof?), and it won't unravel re-exposing your wires. This is one of the more minor purchases I've made on Amazon, but actually one of the best.

Bottle wasn't as full as I'd like at all
Product does what it says so far anyways but I totally felt that they were way lacking on the amount in the bottle it was barely over half full

It really works...2 applications is thick insulation...remains flexible
It's great stuff, and being red, you can see where you've applied it...Dries pretty fast...stays flexible like the wire... It's a lifetime supply for most ppl.
