Quality Tuo-Cha for Daily Tea Use
This has become my second daily tea and the better quality Tuo-cha than many other pricer versions. Please note, they do come in a can, which is nice for freshness, but does seem wasteful since there are only about 15 or so tea pods and only fill it halfway --perhaps the company will offer refills in a pouch instead as an option. (The label has also changed. It used to be 20 pods and is now in oz.) For the price, it offers a comparative purchase for this specific tea.I like that it is a small pod, for a single cup, not necessarily a tea pot --(maybe perfect for a small pot). The taste is toasted and has hues of the Tuo cho "winter-mint" taste. (Not that it's minty, but has almost a wintergreen hue to it indicative of the tua cho puerh. It is smooth and the remnants are also smooth, so leaving a consistent brew.I did compare with another, high end brance which I used to purchase, and actually threw it out, favoring this one as my alternate second cup of tea.Overall: quality toasted tuo cho taste, no aftertaste or heaviness or muddiness to the brew. Quality with a fair price.

I WAS skeptical
I was skeptical about this Pu-er, but was quite surprised. It has quickly become my go to tea. It’s dark and rich without any bitterness. It brews rather quickly and the flavor can get a bit too rich if you steep it too long.

Non returnable even if bad
It tastes bland. No real flavor here. Some of it taste stale. Some of it is misleading with “natural flavoring

Very Energizing Tea!
I bought this tea because I was searching for some Tuocha to lose some weight (diuretic). I am not sure if this specific tea makes me lose some weight by reducing the too much water in my body, but I never felt so energized by drinking some tea!I would have liked to be able to break the round little tea nests to use less tea each time, but beside this detail, I really like it and I like its taste.

An introductory Puerh
As I have found on other sites, xiao tuocha (little tea bowls) like these are usually made of "low grade" leaves and are not usually aged very long. This is to be expected, as Tao of Tea sells other teas that are much more aged. I think this is a better introductory Puerh than the Topaz Puerh, because while there is a smell of "pile flavor" on the liquor after a 30 second rinse, it is very mild. "Pile flavor" is what people sometimes call the "fishy" smell in these reviews. But the taste is very smooth and delightful, and I know the notes of "pile flavor" will go away with later infusions. For the money it is probably a middling value as I am likely to eventually find a Chinese tea seller with the same grade for less. But for a first Puerh this seems good.

Read the information on the packaging
I am glad a friend told me about this tea. The flavor is great and the history of this tea is fascinating.

Did I get scammed?
The product was supposed to be 4oz, yet somehow I ended up with a 3oz tin (50 cups rather than 75). How did that happen? Moreover, I was trying to place a flavor and couldn't figure it out through the description, but another review picked it out for me. It tastes /fishy/. The tin is marked as Lot# 007 on the bottom, in case that helps enyone else.

Tastes good
I've had this product several times over a number of years, and enjoyed it, though at this point I can't compare it to other pu-ers on the market. Two good cups of tea come from each small bundle for me. The double-top containers are neat, and can later make good storage containers, especially for crafty types who like to create their own labels.
