Had the gun belts, the dress belts are just as good

First time buying a track belt. Only type I’ll ever buy again. Nice thick leather. What I liked least was the finish was nice but very smooth. Just a bit of texture may have improved the appearance, but I have no complaints at all.

I am a little shocked to say the least that a belt with much praise and in the triple $$$ price point didn’t last very long. I am a size 33 waist and a father of two young children with a moderate active life but nothing strenuous enough to rip a belt down the center from top to bottom or so I thought. With a heavy presence from the YouTube community and backed by many big names I set my expectations a little higher than normal. The belt is very comfortable to wear throughout the day and I can really appreciate the ease of tightening & loosening with one handed situations (A HUGE PLUS) and the quality seemed great to me. Until tonite I noticed my Kore belt was splitting from its Kore** literally... I have reached out to the company and hope to hear back soon. If not I will be returning the belt and going back to my cheap belts.

Never ever get this wet. Wore this holding up polyester hiking shorts and took a cooling-off dip into the ocean. In under 5 minutes 1/3 of the belt fully delaminated. I got out of the water fast. I bought a total of 3 Kore belts even so. This "ocean belt" is the worst, but all have some separation of the two layers. The others I have not swum in. The buckle teeth eventually break through the "leather" and 3 years later all have been 2 inches shortened to reseat their buckles on a fresher portion of belt. Beware using these belts thus for CCW. However, I do like these belts otherwise. All other belts I've put aside for these track belts as my daily choice. I love the miniscule adjustments as my waist and gear carrying change thruout the day. Once you've worn a track belt you don't want to go 'back. I have bought other track belts; So far Kore is one of the better makes I've found.
