Prefect factory replacement. If you do any 3d printing you should always have a spare hotend ready to go.

My prints were getting a little messy, especially with certain filament types, so I decided to replace the hotend and it is now working flawlessly. Was really easy to swap. Now I have two hot ends and can replace the nozzle in my old one now that it is out. Great price on this!

Followed instructions in manual. So far working fine, after a big clog.

I bought this to replace my stock hotend when I did something bad and got it encased in plastic. (Don't ignore weird sounds.) After recalibration I got exactly the same results as my brand new printer. They come surprisingly well packaged too.

We've used a few of these and some work great out of the box, others threw error codes for temperatures. They will replace them out just shows down production.

I bought two of these units recently to diagnose a series of hot end challenges I was having with my Neptune 4 Pro. I installed the first unit and after a couple successful small prints tried a larger one. The hot end broke down in the middle of the print, spewing PLA from the top of the heating element and overflowing the whole hot end.I cleaned up this mess and installed the second hot end. Tested it on a couple prints and then started the larger print again. This time about 10 hours in to the print the inner copper tube snapped and the hot end fell in half, hot end dangling by the power and control cables. Thank goodness the Neptune printer reported the temp issue and stopped printing before there could be other consequences.I reached out to Elegoo to discuss the issue and their answer was snarkily to point out that I should have been better inspecting the gcode (was not at fault) and that I should have watched the first 5 layers of the print (I did, I always do). Both units were out of the box, no changes except to bolt it on. Elegoo also helpfully told me that I could clean up the non-broken hot end (on the left in the picture) and gave me a link. They did NOT offer to send me a new hot end for the obviously broken one on the right. That is some prime customer service folks! Make sure to buy a lot of their stuff. ug.Anyway, super unhappy with Elegoo and will be buying elsewhere from now on. Hopefully from someone who knows how to make a hot end that doesn't overflow or break in half when you use it.
