THE PERFECT ELECTRIC KNIFE
Love the HAMILTON BEACH ELECTRIC KNIFE !! This electric knife has stainless steel blades and the handle is ergonomically designed with an easy grip. An extra delight is a great black, hard, shiny plastic storage box, which holds all including the carving fork. Used it this evening for our dinner and my husband enjoyed slicing the London Broil......he liked the comfortable feel of this electric knife and the London Broil was sliced beautifully !! Thank you HAMILTON BEACH for the perfect ELECTRIC CARVING KNIFE. It was received quickly and packed very well. I appreciate all, Thank You again for all !!

Worked like a champ
Arrived the day we were having London Broil! Worked like a champ. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about with the trigger not being safe or easy. This replaced a 25 year old model that had a mind of its own in the on / off department, so it was time to go. Great knife, nice fork and the case is a welcome addition, since the old one never had that.

I don't know anything about the performance of the knife
Amazon and its sellers insists on demanding feedback for a product within 24 hours of delivery confirmation. I'm tired of this nonsense, so I'll send a nonsensical feedback. The Hamilton Beech electric knife is black, it has its own case, and the weight promises substantial cutting power. Does it cut well? Who knows, I didn't feel like cutting up my sandwich to test it. Does it clean easily? Who knows, it is still in the case. Is it safe? I haven't cut myself yet! It's pretty and black, but so are some people, so that doesn't tell us much. Next time, wait a month, Amazon, then request feedback.

No Fork
Arrived quickly. Bought to replace my Hamilton Beach knife that became worn out. There is no carving fork with this knife. Rather there are two sets of blades, one long and one short. The case is difficult to open.

Works great.
Works great. Nice box. The attachment to help make the cut even doesn't really help. Too awkward. The engineering department needs to go back to the drawing board. That said, I would recommend.

Does a very good jod.
Great knife. Thee only reason I downgraded manuverability was because it uses a power cord to operate. This can get a little cumbersome when doing any kind of intricate carving.

Bad Trigger, Bad Handle and Poor Blade Release Location. Just an Awful Design
The high ratings for this knife are frankly weird. It's simply too uncomfortable to use for any length of time. This trigger is bizarrely designed. The trigger is located on the bottom. Instead of depressing a trigger to engage, you have to pull back on the trigger and it's not easy to pull. The handle is larger at the back and more slender at the front so your hand naturally wants to slide forward as you are trying to pull back on the trigger. You have to grip very hard to keep your hand from sliding forward. My hand was cramping just trying to slice a thick ribeye into two thinner steaks. Also, the blade release is located on top right where my thumb ends up. I inadvertently released the blades while trying to cut because my thumb ended sliding forward right onto the blade release. Just a terrible design. I literally used it twice and trashed it.

Electric Knife
Bought as a gift for son-in-law. He loved it and actually used it Christmas to carve prime rib.
