Ordered this to replace the dead 9V, 2A, positive centre power supply for an old Motorola picture frame and knew that the slightly higher voltage would not be a problem. Measured the no load voltage of the one I received as 9.57V.The connector on this Taifu adapter, as suspected, was not suitable as the hole in the centre was too small and the angled end of the original adapter's connector was preferable even if it had fitted. Carefully, confirming polarity, joined the cable from the original adapter to the cable of the new one, removing the last 20cm with its connector for possible future use. Works fine and the longer combined cable length is an advantage.The adapter itself looks much better than most with a modern design and also has its 1.8m cable exiting from below, which I very much prefer. Most adapters sold in the UK are designed for countries where there is no earth pin limiting the position and usually results in the cable coming out the top.Would certainly recommend if you need a power supply for an appropriate Sony speaker (for which I presume it works fine) and also for anyone seeking a 9.5V (or 9V) 2A power supply (relatively unusual) for other purposes if they have the ability to correctly change the connector if necessary.

I was able to run this unit on my battery charger on which the load can be adjusted. The power adapter ran for a couple of hours at 1.8A (near full output) without any issue and with only a slight drop in voltage. It stayed cool. The supplied DC connector is around 4.75 x 1.5mm.A well finished appearance with a quality feel.
