Worn primary battery came with only 68% full charge capacity (returned)
Purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad T480 (refurbished) from DynamicIT, labeled as “excellent” quality. Specs included Intel Core i7-8650U, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 14” FHD display, running Windows 10.In reality, it came with Windows 11, which I didn't mind. The main problem was a clearly worn primary battery that only had 68% of its original full capacity. For an “excellent” condition device this is disappointing. Buying refurbished, I expected some wear of course, but this is too low even considering. Had to return it - won't be using a laptop intended for mobile use with a below sub par battery. The rest of the device and specs seemed fine. I ran Windows cmd battery reports + Lenovo Vantage hardware checks and everything besides that primary battery was great. Just sucks that one of the most important components came like that.TLDR:The laptop performs as expected, but the poor battery quality was disappointing. Be cautious with sellers like DynamicIT when buying “excellent” refurbished devices, as quality might not match expectations. Also bought the same laptop from another seller called ComputerDeal and same story, except that battery was even worse and came back in the reports as completely failing at literally 5.63% of original capacity. Didn't even charge after multiple hours. Be cautious of the seller you're buying from.

No funciona
La peor experiencia, el cargador no sirve, las baterías en 0 %, no compren esto, es una decepción que jueguen así con las personas. Para nada el producto es como se describe, un engaño total, no regalen el dinero.

Not repaired, but "refurbished"
The #1 low speed USB-C port was dead on arrival the laptop and the #2 high speed USB C port is very loose. It's obvious that the ports are original to the laptop. I overlooked this as the high speed worked. This is a very common issue among these models, and I thought whoever refurbished it would know this, or at least not sell a computer with a known bad part, claiming it had been fixed. I included a picture of the HDMI port as well to show wear, because it's hard to tell the wear on the charge ports. HDMI port has definitely seen some actionOne or maybe two of the batteries is cooked and refuses to hold a healthy amount of charge. At 50% brightness the computer will last about 4 hours of easy work.Cosmetically it's fine, but now I have a chore of replacing the internal battery, external battery, and multiple ports. The parts are only around $100 but the reason I bought a $200 laptop was because I don't have $100 I wanna donate for my laptop to last more than a year of college.Unless you're willing and able to repair whichever flaw comes with your laptop, I'd invest your money in a reputable refurbisher or new machine otherwise you can add this on to the cost of whichever new computer you choose to replace it in a year

Perfect laptop??? Just might be
One of the last upgradable modern laptops. Seller provided a t480 in very excellent condition with more features than expected. 1080p IPS touch screen, fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard & windows 11 (would’ve rather had windows 10pro as described, that’s where it lost 1 star but not a huge deal.)I reinstalled a de-bloated version of win11 and this thing cruises as is for being 7yrs old. It plays light games only limited by the 4core cpu. This t480 will be getting a 1TB sata SSD, a secondary 512GB 2230 m.2 nvme, 32GB of ram, 72wh battery (24wh battery it came with needs abit more juice with the i7) and then lastly a 2pipe cooling fan that’s ment for a GPU optioned t480 to help the i7 from throttling. Super excited to see this lappy once this all the upgrades are installed and singing.Highly recommend Dynamic IT Hardware. This was the 3rd try from 3 different refurb sellers to get a t480 that was as described (even better in my case) and it works perfectly.*EDIT*I opened up the laptop for a storage and ram upgrades and it doesn’t look like it was refurbished. Still works fine but to me refurbished includes cleaning. I’ll know for sure once I upgrade the fan and check the thermal paste. One more thing I found is the battery was still from 2018 and I got 3 cycles out of it and now it will not charge. Not a refurb laptop IMO

Great price on an almost new I7 Thinkpad 480
Both came with nvme 2280 SSD and a 16gb ram chip with one slot left open for expansion. This was ideal as I expected 8x8 and a SATA SSD. It was such a nice machine at a good price that I bought a second a week later. My son can't have all the fun.

Good, BUT….
The t480 I purchased is clean and in good shape, but there were a few issues. I still considered what I received as a good value. The unit I received was not as pictured, or described. The unit pictured and described was the t480 with the fingerprint sensor, but the unit I received lacked the fingerprint sensor, but instead came with the windows hello camera array. The rest of the hardware was as pictured and described. Both the internal battery and external battery provided were at very poor health, requiring a replacement immediately. The unit I received had only the right speaker working, but upon replacing the internal battery I was able to diagnose the issue. The left speaker cable was not installed correctly. After reseating the cable both speakers now work.I am only giving this a 3/5 rating. I deducted 1 star for the incorrect biometric devices, and poor battery health. I deducted another star because of the speaker cable not being installed correctly. All in all, I would purchase from this seller again, as the unit is very clean, and I am able to diagnose and repair problems myself. If you do not have the know-how to diagnose or repair devices, I would avoid this seller.
