Price & Kensington Matt Navy Blue 2cup Teapot

Because tea stains, I decided on a dark color for my new pot. This pot is ideal, light weight and appealing. Definitely a bargain!

It's quite small but holds enough for tea for two and the matte blue finish is beautiful. It came well packaged and arrived on time.

I like the matte finish (really pretty) and I find the teapot pours without dripping. The handle stays cool.In general, I'd say this size is ideal for someone who wants a couple of cups of tea in a teacup. For myself, I wish it were 1 oz. bigger because I make 2 8-oz mugsful, but I manage. Can't really say if the pot keeps tea hot forever because we brew, pour, and drink both cups at once.

I'm an American and never really saw the reason for a teapot. But I have been getting into tea and wondered about making it like they do in the UK - so I tried a teapot. Maybe it's psychological, but I really do think it makes tea better. I heat my water in an electric kettle now. I first pour in hot water to the teapot, then wait about 30 seconds and empty the water from the teapot into the mug. I add my tea bag to the teapot, refill it with hot water from the kettle and wait about 3-5 minutes or so. Empty the water from the mug and fill it with the tea from the teapot. Add milk & sugar. I often have a cup when I get home from work around 5pm - often decaf so it doesn't affect my sleep later.

Perfect size for 2 mugs of tea. Small enough to fit under Kuerig!

This teapot is the most glorious, rich, deep, matte blueberry-indigo blue. I'd like a set of teacups and saucers to match!

This was a teapot for my daughter. I really liked the Matt finish.This was a Christmas present for my daughter and we’ve used it for two days and it’s developed hairline fractures in the pot. Never put in dishwasher or anything! Need to return it.
